Anyone can make their own QR barcodes at

Put up a web page, create a QR symbol with its URL, and spread it around. If the QR barcode is the only place that URL appears you can assume everyone who lands on your page did so by scanning your QR barcode with their cell phone.

See it. Scan it. See what happens!
