Just say *Good Bye* to the old gyms of Chico! And I don't want to hear how the "families" will stay and support the dump-of-a-health club locally. You owners know who you are, better find funding or move back from where you came from.

I think they will definitely see a drop in students if only for the convenience. My husband pays only about $400 for the year at In Motion, so it makes no sense to leave for what they offer at the school. At Chico Sports Club I've heard they are focusing a lot on the older community so they won't see that drop as much.

Check out the babes in the pool. I know where I'll be hanging out in between classes!

It's still cheaper to go to any other club in town. And unless you live right next to campus other clubs will be closer too. I don't think this will have a very large effect on the local clubs. And I think it's great for the campus.

I think that this will affect the other gyms as setting a standard for what you get for your money. With the new campus and In Motion having new and modern facilities with comparable pricing, how can the other "lesser quality" gyms compete? I know that they charge the same or more (if you didn't lock in your rate, ha!) for broken equipment, disgusting pools, no amenities, and the foul smells! Location is irrelevant as Chico is relatively small and everything is 10-15 minutes away. The bottom line is that I am investing in my health and I personally want to get the most for my money.
