Please, how about letting free enterprise and competition rule what happens at Kodunk? Kirsten, we need you to work on real issues, affecting inner city, the environment, economic viability and promotion for NEW companies, cleaning up toxic sites of Kodunk type companies...there's a lot for you to do, besides resurrecting a relic that's dead of their own volition...

Perez spoke of Kodak's transformation from primarily a film company to a company with no direction and no future. They are on their way out folks. Perez has just went along for the ride making lots of money. Not even Rowe Photo will carry their products. Just poor quality.

Well, the best news about this story is NY's new senator was even willing to have a meeting with Perez (Kodak who?). Kodak's bottom line isn't going to enrich shareholders because they rent space to other companies! Perez needs to figure out ways to leverage Kodak's expertise into new products which would be profitable and fill customer needs. So far, not so good. Licensing away OLED technology is a bonehead move, it's one of the best things EK's come up with in the past 20 years.

Tad, right on! Perez will stuff his suitcase with millions, lay off a few more thousand and skip town. Kodak will collapse soon thereafter.

She will become a typical lib.Dem.and say anything to get a vote. She will flip-flop all over the place just like she did on gun control.I never worked at Kodak but alot of my family and friends did-Kodak screwed this city and the people that worked for them.I say let them fail without any bail out (tax payer's)money.

Sadly, it looks too late to resurrect the company. Perez decided to build a printer company right at the time when nobody wants to print anymore... He was the last CEO with a last chance to embark on something sustainable - and Kodak had unique foundations to do a thousand other things: electronics, chemistry, printing, displays, medical, photography, coating, all in one place. Instead, right now he is wasting $300m per year on 1 million installed consumer printers. They are great, but NOBODY PRINTS. Just embarked on wasting another $30m to further promote this technology. When will shareholders stop this madness? Unfortunately, even if they did, there is no time or resource to develop something really valuable. It is very sad.

If Gillibrand could repair those few roofing tiles on top of the Kodak Headquarters, that we've had to see for the last few decades, I would be happy.

This nitwit senator is a clueless idiot. She's more of a media slut than chuckie schammer. Time to vote her dumb ass outta office. Kodak is already dead - save the taxpayer money on this one. They have no vision and their workers blow the big one.
