Petrodollars, and drug money, were used to fund 9/11. I am more worried about preventing funds getting to the people who planned 9/11, to prevent the next 9/11, than I am worried about Japanese war crimes that happened 65 years ago.
I find my Yaris to be a very comfortable vehicle. More comfortable than my Ford Ranger, which I traded in, for a second used Yaris.
Some of us can't help but pity you.
A Yaris is an ugly plastic piece of trash and you know it.
If you knew what a real car was you would buy one from an American brand.

When your F-250 is 100% made American using only American made parts, made using only materals that found in the US, made using only American sources of energy. When your F 250 is powered by 100% American sources of energy, instead of being mostly powered by imported oil, then you have something that is worth claiming made in America.
Let's see, you obviously don't know me or what I do for a living, because that's why I need a truck. I live on a farm, I NEED a truck. I don't think you puny little Prius/Insight/Whatever can haul 10,000 lbs of hay can it? I support an American company that builds my type of truck in America. I help keep those people working. I work with my hands for a living, not just sitting behind a computer all day, pushing pencils. You obviously don't appreciate hard working Americans like me, who feed you everyday. Where do you think the bread you buy comes from? Corn? Please don't take me for an idiot who buys a truck just to show off. I need my truck not only for work, but for when I take a day off and haul my boat down to the lake. My truck isn't 100% U.S. parts, I know that, but I sleep good every night knowing that I bought the most American truck money can buy.

Yaris numbers are down and continue to decline. The public has spoken and they have shunned this poor excuse of a vehicle.

I have seen that photo before. So you like to take facts out of context. You should linked up to the complete story. The short verson of the story is that Nick loss control of his Yaris while driving at Interspace speeds, while taking a curve. The Yaris hit a dirt embankment head on going 55 mph. The Yaris rolled over three times. Nick walked away with just a bad shoulder bruise from the shoulder strap. Nich had minor blood loss from his face from the deployment of the air bag. Nick said he was not a believer that small cars were safe. Nick said the accident changed his mind. Nick said he will buy another Yaris.

While Toyota has seen a reduction in sales of all types of vehicles, so have all other automakers in the US market.

Since the introduction of the Yaris in the US, Toyota has sold 135,000 Yarises in the US. Toyota sold 200,000 Yarises World wide last year. Toyota is planning upon building a forth model of the Yaris, a lower cost hybrid. That would make 4 different Yaris models being sold in the US. The Yaris sounds like a successful model to me. If Toyota is investing in the Yaris product like, the Yaris must be doing better than you think.

The demand for the Yaris in Europe is so high that Toyota converted the Echo plant in France to build the Yaris. That gives Toyota two factories that build the Yaris. The other factory that builds Yarises is in Japan.

You are certainly very tenacious in trying to convince yourself that asian cars aren't pieces of trash, all the while knowing the truth.

Its sad really.

Sad? Indeed. There is something truly sad in what you say.
What is so patently sad about your comment is the fact that you have never provided tangible evidence of your claims about offshore automakers---instead you choose to personally attack those who don't agree with your 'trash' remarks, and do so with factual and objective reasoning.
Now that is sad!!
You might want to think about that.

The fact that you waste so much time attacking the Toyota Yaris liftback, when you have not even test driven one, shows how much you fear Japanese fuel economy automobile design. The fact that America is not capable of designing such a master piece of small car design, and the fact I will not accept any car design but the best, even if that car is a import, really bugs you. My goal is not to convince my self that the Yaris is the best designed small car the world, but is to have the last word.

You need to reread my comment. Or did you miss the word "not"? My goal is still to have the last word that the Yaris 3 door liftback is the best designed vehicle on the market. The Yaris 3 door liftback is a better design than any American made vehicle.

That is the biggest load of garbage I have heard in a long time... well done.
You can't answer to the fact that asian cars are pieces of trash, which you would know deep down inside.
You are simply bitter that you made the wrong choice in purchasing total garbage.

There is not a single American car on the market that is as bad as a tiny piece of trash yaris.
I still don't understand why people would by from asian companies when American car companies make superior automobiles.
It must be bizare political reasons...

Daily Horoscope for January 4

Aquarius

You will not be satisfied in your work place, but give it some time and things will fall into place. Those in the construction business should get some good news. Aquarian homebodies will find things rather hectic and may develop a headache by the end of the day, so you should avoid negative thinking as much as possible.
