yes ive had my ipod for about a year now and just recently found a easy way to download videos and put them on my ipod but i recently downloaded a movie and put it on my ipod and it seemed to work cuz i can play it in my itunes but when i plug my ipod in to update my itunes seems to freeze and keeps saying UPDATING IPOD and i left it on for an hour and it stayed like that and i guess itunes froze cuz i couldnt even move the page around. but i also add music videos i download off google and it adds those, but doesnt add the movies i download? why not? and itunes freezes? even when i deleted every video i had it still freezes on the update screen?

whats the problem?

i found a soloution to my problem.. anyone else expereiencing the same thing i hope this helps... if your ipod freezes with the " do not disconnect" on the display, just let the ipod run overnight until the battery runs out, then when it does the screen should be black. Just recharge it again using your adapter and connect it to itunes again, it should work fine.

when your ipod keeps displaying the DO NOT DISCONNECT sign whenever you connect it just wait a minute and click restore in the your ipod thingy and sync all of the songs again

I have followed everything people have seen on here and nothing is working. It keeps going back to a white screen saying

Connect to your computer use i-tunes to restore.

so when i do that its still coming back to that screen ... any ideas?

I have a 60gb Ipod Video. It has worked fine until about 5mins ago, I donwloaded a new song from Itunes and connected my Ipod through my front USB connection as per normal...nothing happened...I waited and nothing happened on my pc. The ipod has come up with the do not disconnect message and I cant remove it even with trying the buttons. My computer will not recognise the Ipod at all no matter what Usb connection i use (have 8 connections). any help would be most appreciated!

apple were less than useless in their "advice".:(
