It wasnt Cox or Verizon who came up with this lame-brain idea..it was the U.S. Government.

its ok folks dont get in a rush these stupid companies
dont have but a couple "free" hd channels anyway!!!!!

If the cable companies would embrace cable card technology, train their staff better on how to install the devices, consumers would not need the cable boxes. Customers could use their TiVo boxes or cable card ready TVs to receive and record HD programming.
