Garrett Hanalei Kaopua. I wonder if he's any relation to the guy who was found dead in a carport at a trailer park just down the street from Marinwood in San Rafael? They had the same last name. How sad if this is true. He needs help so not to repeat the same mistakes the person that went before him did.

Karma? And some pretty screwed up women too. Abandoned kids, cultural confusion and plenty of alienation from their parents.

Wow same family? Psycho nut doesnt fall far from the tree now does it?
Time to eradicate and bug bomb that house on Elderberry with the family of drug cracked out crackheads in it. How many more crimes does this house have to have before it is considered a nuisance? Dude has been wandering streets during the day stealing crap out of garages for a week now and finally gets caught at Burger King? I would have this halfway house for crack addicts under surveillance 24/7 and arrest anyone who "visits" or "drops by to say hi". So wonderful to have this house back up to your kids school isnt it? Maybe one day we can hope theres a drug shooting there or a meth fire to burn the house down maybe that will discourage the scumbags who visit and live there daily.

First of all....Garrett is the son of Marcus (may he rest in peace), but Marcus WAS NOT found in a trailer park! Don't try and make him seem like a low life. He owned the house that he passed away in. Some people fall into bad things and have a hard time coming out of them. As for Garrett and hoe bag Kim...they do deserve to spend time in jail for the things that they have been doing. I know Garrett from a past relationship and the man he is now is not who I knew. Kim is a crack out slut and she does more worse things then he does, she just doesn't get caught...maybe for the fact that she's a female...IDK!

Potayto....Potahto - House that can be moved is a mobile home- Houses with wheels that can be moved are in a Mobile Home park.. how they move houses on wheels is on a TRAILER..so where they PARK these houses is a Trailer Park. Its ok you can admit it.. you lived in a trailer park with him. Its not as bad as the flea bag canal area.

So by your logic we shouldnt count his actions for present day what he has done.. only when you "knew him" 20 years ago when he was a good boy and wasnt into trouble? Nice try..
He wasnt a low life..but look who surrounded him.. low lifes.
Sorry to be harsh..but read your story again and this article and tell me how everyone involved in this case and the past case isnt a complete and udder waste of societies time and money and a complete low life! Trying to put all the blame on her is a cop out.. it takes 2 to tango. If he was such a good guy he would have booted her out long ago.
Im sure John Wayne Gacy and Charles Manson's fathers were nice guys too especially if you were in a relationship with them.

I don't know who you are and why you care so much about these people...but maybe you should read what I wrote one more time. Marcus died at his home in San Venitia, at his house. I'm glad you can give a definition on a "mobile home" and that things with wheels are able to move...I graduated high school and went to college, so I know what a mobile home and a trailer park is..Thanks!
And I'm not blaming everything that Garrett does on Kim. I'm not saying I knew Garrett 20 years ago either. I met him 5 years ago and was in a 3 year relationship with him. My daughter called him "daddy", he held a job and was a decent guy. Obviously no one is perfect, but after he met this "hood rat" named Kim, he started making very poor choices. He is an adult and can make choices for himself, but when you have influences from people who are scum walking this earth, it's easy to become that. I'm not saying what he is doing with his life right now is right, I just know what type of person he can be and I feel sorry for him....to a point. But I do agree that he should spend time in jail for what he has done.
