The real problem here is that there is a total and complete lack of supervision and control in the LAUSD (Los Angeles Unified School District) due to a systemic failure of the Administration.

The District is top heavy with do-nothing administrators who should have been walking the halls and seeing what teachers are doing in their classrooms. Remember, ALL of this was taking place ON campus, IN his classroom, DURING school hours.

Further, parents and children were told by both the LAUSD and the law enforcement investigators to keep quite so as to not "cross-contaminate" witnesses and their statements.

The City of L.A., the LAUSD and the L.A. Sheriff Department share liability for anything that happened once this disgusting turd was unmasked and up until the time he was arrested on 1/30/12.

Further, the LAUSD's failure is traceable DIRECTLY back to Mayor Villaraigosa himself as he touts that he has taken control of the District in order to "straighten things out". That's a laugh. Sounds like former L.A. Archdioceses' Roger Mahoney saying he was investigating and taking care of the child molestation allegations in the church.("Things are well in hand. Yuk, yuk.")

Tragic as this is, this scandal should be investigated and ANYONE involved in this should be brought up on charges, whether they are teachers who knew about this and remained silent, administrators who knew, or law enforcement who may have sat on this.

The molester will still get his tax slave funded Union Pension. Luckily for the child molester, the Teachers Union owns the Democratic politicians and the stupidest citizens in America Vote for the Union Owned Democrats. We deserve every horrific out come that befalls our families.
Every one who doesn't vote owns the shame of allowing this crap to happen in LA County. Everyone who does Vote for these people is a sadistic monster.

Use this nightmare as a wake up call. If you can't afford the safety and quality of a private school for your kids relocate to one of the 45 States which offer a superior public education to California.
Your kids are worth it.

In Calif the Public Schools are all about serving the Unions. In most States the Public Schools are still about offering kids a great education! Calif's poisonous political envirnment has devalued the future for middle class families.

What a tragedy. The union ownership of the LAUSD is unprecedented. Parents in the rest of the Country wouldn't stand for it. What a horrible time to be a kid in LA.

Don't bother asking questions.

The pervert teacher has a right to privacy.

The kids have a right to privacy.

The other teachers have a right to privacy.

The school administrators have a right to privacy.

The school contractors have a right to privacy.

Just move along. Nothing to see here.

This has to be one of the most sickening stories og all time and and castration of these monsters along with life in prison shoule be a mandatory sentence. Maybe male teachers should be screened more thoroughly or not even be allowed to teach in elementary schools.

and how long was LAUSD aware of this without doing anything about it?
I suppose they have the right to withhold evidence, about sexual misconduct, embezzlement, nepotism/favoritism, theft in excess of $1000, not to mention possible dismissal from LAUSD for going to the press about all this

I guess if your loosing your job their anyway as a result of all the cutbacks their gonna have to make from the law suits their gonna loose, you have nothing to loose and just might be able to make a difference in someones life for the better.

So if you know something, tell someone, anyone, LAUSD needs to learn they are not above the law and must be held accountable, just like every one else in the world.

The Deviant Monsters had the full support and protection of the evil immoral Teachers Union. Parents should be so ashamed. The voters elected Union owned Hacks. No one in LA stands up for our kids.

Why is Miramonte School painted like a third world nation school?

American parents wouldn't stand for that. Bad learning environment.
