Ok, here's what I would like to do:
Use my Bluetooth headset as an input microphone to my laptop and simultaneously output the audio to a minijack hooked up to a sound system. Preferably in such a way that I can add in some background music. Anyone have a lead?

Broadcom just launched an online instructional video series all about Bluetooth. It's an 11-part video series and covers all kinds of advanced uses of Bluetooth and maybe your question will be answered.
