Alpha Centauri B may have "superhabitable" worlds

There are 2 comments on the Gizmag story from Jan 28, 2014, titled Alpha Centauri B may have "superhabitable" worlds. In it, Gizmag reports that:

Since Earth is the only known inhabited planet and we happen to live here, it's only natural to regard it as the ideal place for life to exist, and to assume that another life-bearing planet would be fairly similar.

odd article.

Shows a few handy hints to lifezone planets. The age of the system is however the main problem as alpha cen A will be responsible for tidally "bumping" the planets around B into decreasing orbital radii which will eventually dump them into the main star (alpha cen B).

This is the same scenario that is now tidally bumping the Galilean satellites into Jupiter, Amalthea (originally a Mercury sized rock covered in a shell of water to mars size in total), has now broken up leaving a few rocks coverd in goop from Io. Io is next to go & has now lost all of its water, and is now powering volcanoes from sulphur gases (mainly SO2) from degraded sulphate salts. Europa has lost the bulk of its water & Ganymede is mow frozen as a result of the loss of tidal forcing from Amalthea. Only Callisto remains pristine but is orbiting a LOT closer than it used todo when the solar system formed.

Alpha cen Bb is likely a Callisto clone being either the ultimate or possibly penultimate planet in the alpha cen B system, but its time in the lifezone has long since been & gone due to the inward drift due to tidal bumping from A,(as has all the water and probably the bulk of the atmosphere).

Being close to the 8 Billion year old age (alpha cen A is turning off) the chances of outer planets around B is rather small. The tidal bumping effect from B is smaller than A but as A is brighter they are likely even hotter by now.

I hope they haven't invented SUVs. Can you imagine the outcry from the IPCC dimwits over Anthropogenic Interstellar Warming? The horror.
