Swell...the problem is the teachers are stuck in multimedia as well...multitasking has become the catch phrase of the decade...split attention spans cannot focus. Go ahead and see for yourself, wear earphones jamming music into your head, read the text on your blackberry, and answer your teacher's question... We are creating a form of electronic autism...too much stimulation and shut down will occur, memory failure will occur, sound familiar. Mixed signals will produce mixed results. Consider this simple situation..you are sitting at a red light in your car. The radio is on, you're thinking about the work you have to do at the office, your carpool mates are chatting about the watercooler buzz, your watching cars pass in front of you when you notice the electronic weather and time sign in front of your local bank change from temperature to time. So you step on the gas pedal...oops the wrong light changed.
