Actually that's exactly what he did, he called 911 and said he has a gun. I've also seen the video, we must be watching two different videos, because I see no compliance and no hands in the air. Get informed so that you know the facts and don't speculate on them.
So lesson learned listen to pd or they empty clips.. End of story

Also he didn't lunge at them while laying prone (idiot) he was standing up. And They attempted to use less than lethal attempts but he still didn't cooperate. Read the witness statements in the news and get your facts straight before you infect any empty minds with anymore of your garbage.
My husband witnessed the whole thing. He chose not to be the next victim of SPD so he chose to not share. You have no clue what SPD did to this man or his family. How can SPD AND FCSD pull out their assault rifles & blow away an innocent man who did not lunge at them or pose a threat? According to my husband the so called weapon he had was his cell phone & he came out cooperating. They chose to shoot. Probably cause SPD was pissed they had to actually work. So "truth" get your facts straight before vomiting your what you think went down version.. Cause its exactly that.. What you think.

It i so easy to blame police when something this tragic occurs. Where we're you and his family/friends when he needed help. It should have never gotten this far if he had the support from them and encouragement to get help. Just because you write "I love you Charlie" doesn't mean squat if you didn't show him that while he was alive.
The police did what they felt necessary given the information provided in the 9-11 and the circumstances given.
Also there were less than lethal attempts to restrain him. Didn't u watch the news? They shot at him first with the bean bag gun and he still didn't cooperate.
Before you pass judgement ob the police be sure to inderstabd that police may use deadly force if there is sufficient fear for their safety or the safety of others (hence the information given by dispatch and his actions).
Put yourself in this situation. Now, your chasing a man who said he was going to put on battle gear, is armed with a 9mm handgun and two knifes. He is found hiding in a bush; unknown if he was attempting an ambush technique, and is uncooperative. Because he is a trained marine, stated he was armed, possibly wearing body armor underneath his clothing and is refusing to show you his hands there is more than enough there which provides suffient fear and belief he is dangerous.
Im pretty sure his action when he lunged at officers and the totality of circumstances is the reason why he was shot. It's not like they just gunned him down while he was hiding in the bushes. Now if I was in that position I know I'm going to take every precaution to ensure I go home to my wife and kids.
Such a selfish way to die also. For whatever reason he refused to carry out this suicide himself, the lives of these officers are forever changed because they have to deal with this tragedy. People tend to forget that officers are people too. Imagine going home to your family knowing you took a mans life to ensure the safety of the public and your own.
But go ahead and convince yourself that it's someone else's fault when you or his family weren't there to prevent this. It's always someone's else's fault and those who stood by and did nothing will always complain.
You are So full of it, this case is about to go to trial. everything u said about this incident being justified was all crap. It comes out that Sanger pd was the only threat to the community as they fired their assault rifles not caring where bullets will end up missing their intended target with over half of the rounds that were shot.. I really hope u do ur own investigation on tragedies like this when u dare to comment against the victims families in the future
