Just think, Barry...if he was still alive he'd be a suspected terrorist, being an American and returning war vet and all....oops--never mind. That's just the Iraq vets. Imagine if he knew what you were doing, Barry? Think he'd be proud of what you're doing? Your Gramps is spinning in his grave.

Will he mention the Middle Eastern Muslims, including the Egyptians that supported the Mufti of Jerusalem who supported Hitler? Is the world suppose to forget that?

Here's another example of Obama taking credit for somebody else's accomplishments. It's as if he's what he is today because of his grandfather's war record...and we're supposed to stand up and cheer, not his grandfather, but Obama.

McCain's family was steeped in military tradition and accomplishments (including his kids) was viewed by the MSM as being an anomaly and because McCain scored low in his class rankings completely negated his achievements and accomplishments for what he did for this country, let alone his father and grandfather, both 4-star admirals.

This is pushed to the side as Obama basks in his grandfather's war record and how it makes him such a better man, a better (so-called) leader and now POTUS, er rather TOTUS.

Obama's is an incredible fraud.

YOu want to check out liberals. Ask them if they know what HR 1388 means. This is an executive order that our Community Organizer slipped under the radar screen Wednesday night when nobody would notice. This order allows 20.3 million of our tax payer dollars to go for the immigration of Hamas Refugees. Sound ridiculous. This administration is ruthless. If we as conservatives think this guy is only going to last 1 term, that is only wishful thinking. Don't bet that he won't try to change the law and run for more than 2 terms. RUTHLESS

What about his "Other" grandfather. You know the one who fathered HIS father. The father who LEFT him and Barrys' mother.

Where is the balance in reporting on grandfathers. What about all of Barry's "African" illegal family in the U.S.A,

But this is not pretentious media spin....

But, but, but - Obama and his "Organizing for America" team said, in a mass email - "On June 6th, in thousands of homes across the country, we'll gather to launch our grassroots campaign for health care. We'll watch a special message from the President. We'll build the teams and draw up the plans for winning health care reform the same way we won the election:
These kickoffs are so crucial that President Obama will join confirmed hosts and attendees on a live conference call."
D-Day? What is up with this D-Day? It is CRUCIAL to have "health care parties," not to remember some stinkin' war! Obama said so. Don't reporters ever report on what they have been told is really important?

What about him...has he stood up to the Nazi supporting Muslims?

Has he stood up to those that support them?

He is clueless about what is happening to the Jews in Israel. He thinks the hatred started in Gaza...not steeped in Nazi support.

We can't get gramps opinion about his war experience and what he thinks of Obama using it for political purposes but his uncle has an opinion on Obama using him.

In Flanders Fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

This was written before WWII but is still relevant for most people, the exceptions being the flunkies in the White House/executive branch.

Notice how Obama wants to identify with his white uncle and grandfather but nary a mention of his black grandfather, his myriad of black uncles, brothers and sisters. What were THEY doing in World War Two...or yesterday for that matter? In his books, Obama decried his white heritage, including his white grandmother who raised him. He didn't even mention his white grandfather's or uncle's heroics or achievements in his books. But now, it serves him to identify with them rather than his mysterious other side. Why?

Nice to see all the bitter Republican losers blogging in with their whining, their crying, and their typically idiotic right-wing charges.

Obama won and you losers are full of beans! Ha-ha-ha-ha!

Really? Most seem like pretty legitimate concerns to me. But they speak to actual issues, and the radical liberals don't like that. So as usual we get the broad, and vague general criticisms and name calling, and not a word about the crisis this country is in and what this current president is doing to it. Right out of the New Demokratik playbook.

anyone who was in the landing on DDay should be considered special whether he is related to the president or not. nobody can take credit for what they did. in fact anyone who was in WW2 is special.

Uhm, I suggest you re-read the article. Obama's grandfather was a rear echelon guy who didn't see any action. He should consider himself lucky that he wasn't in combat.

My father won an 'all expense paid trip' to see the beautiful European countryside on his 18th birthday back in '44. He was a replacement in the 14th Armored Division after some heavy fighting during the 'Battle of the Bulge'. He saw combat and wouldn't talk much about his war experience except after VE day when he was guarding POWs.

Anyone who served should be recognized, but to call them heroes diminishes the efforts of those who really were heroes.

You have noted that it takes Obama to go back 65 years to find some kind of family heritage that is worth celebrating. Nobody else in his family has anything noteworthy to report unless you like the story of an abandoning father/mother, an illegal alien aunt, half brothers and sisters who live in mud huts and herd goats, and on and on.
