Remains are not those of Joan of Arc
“Perhaps it was for religious reasons. Perhaps it was created to increase the importance of the process of beatification in 1909.”
A rib bone supposedly found at the site where French heroine Joan of Arc was burned at the stake is actually that of an Egyptian mummy, according to researchers who used high-tech science to expose the fake. via News Observer

God Bless the Roman Catholic Church!!! Studies like this need to be done so that others won't mock Catholics saying they will believe anything. Pick up a rock in texas, say it is one that was thrown at the adulteress, and some say Catholics would believe that and hold it as a Holy Relic. We need the researchers like these weather they are Catholic or not to keep the Church Holy. God Bless you all!!

The shroud of Turin has also been found to be a fake, I believe.
Scams like this need to be uncovered.

I'm not so sure about the shroud. I don't believe that there is conclusive evidence either way.
