Lauderhill leaders back trip to France

Come on people we need to do the right thing and publicly fund this trip so that our commissioners can go to France. It is very important that they visit Paris, see the Eifel Tower and the Louve. The way to handle it is quite simple. Fund a one way ticket for them and then close our borders to their return!

Can we ask France to keep them and have them send us Chirac?

Yes, I am sure that Lauderhill will be the first place the French think of going on vacation after five ignorant City commissioners visit there. Well thought plan, taxpayers should definately fund this. Maybe other Cities should join them, spread the Broward disease in France. I cannot believe that this story isn't actually about Hollywood or Sunrise.

I highly doubt that Lauderhill will ever be a local destination, domestic tourist destination, or international tourist destination.

Our Commissioners have the right idea but the wrong location. They should first spend a few weeks in Las Vegas and Reno to explore legally controlled prostitution and gambling. Of Course our tax dollars will fund these highly important trips!
Then on to Amsterdam! |

Lauderhill an international destination? Surely someone is joking. Has anyone visited Lauderhill lately? The hodgepodge of pawn shops, strip malls, convenience stores and used car lots on State Road 7 is far from a tourist draw. Commissioners need a dose of common sense, look around your city first before flying off to France.

In every city these bone headed commsioners has to go to another country for some BS political reasons. Some of them are trips so they can learn to be better commisioners, or so they claim. No commisioner should go out of this country unless they pay for everything themselves out of their own pocket. Lauderhill an international destination? Too funny.

Don't think of it as wasting money. Look at it as if they are acculturating themselves to best understand our needs. NOT! |
|
Are they sayin this with a straight face? They expect the trip to promote French tourism to scenic State Rd 7.

This is all to vague.
The proposed location for the investment is not owned by the city its on private property. Any real benefits will go to the landowners and the developers. |
