My father (86) who is alive, used to play minor league soccer (Garza Finance) at the Pitman Sullivan Park in the 40's and 50's. I remember going there as a kid in the 50's and watch my dad play against soccer teams from all over the world. Teams from Mexico, South America, France, Germany and others.
I recall the good times at this park. Lots of families..a few fist fights between the players during the games , but nothing serious..all players would always handshake after every game.
Very very good time at this park.
