If a company like Ford, or Goodyear, or GE wants to have a bunch of uneducated laborers making inferior products that hurt the company image, let them.
Companies like Ford, Goodyear and GE were founded on the uneducated laborer. Those uneducated laborers learned to make great products for dollars a WEEK. These same companies promised their workers retirement benefits and are now denying them.
I worked for years to get the pay I receive each week...no union involved. Skilled tradesmen and laborers are fast becoming a thing of the past because no one wants to start at the bottom and work their way to the top of the pay scale. This younger generation needs to produce more laborers or else everything we use here in the good ol' USA will be manufactured by some other country.

Just read over my previous comment and realized it sounds as if I am behind the big companies. Let me clarify...I am NOT a fan of these big companies at all. I was just stating that the companies were founded with uneducated laborers. If these companies were less greedy...and Americans were more thriftful...well I am sure you can catch my meaning.

Dont blame the union workers, it was Goodyear who agrees at contract time to pay these higher wages. They didnt have to agree with the contract!
RRRIIIIGGGHHHHTTTT.....
They could've not agreed, and dealt with an even longer strike. THAT would have been better for business.

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Pisces

It's a big change today after yesterday's combustible atmosphere and you're feeling more relaxed and understanding. You're even prepared to forgive someone for what you thought yesterday was a heinous crime, and ready to give them a second chance. However, let's hope that this person deserves your goodwill and is grateful to receive it.
