"a rose by any other name would smell as sweet"

DEAR REPRESENTATIVE LANTOS,
WE UPSET OTHER GOVERNMENTS ALL THE TIME UNNESSISARILY. OVER 1,000,000 INDIVIDUALS WERE
RAPED, TORTURED, AND KILLED IN THE MOST BRUTAL FASHION. ALL THIS RESOLUTION DOES IS
TO RECOGNIZE THEIR MEMORY, A MEMORY THAT HAS BEEN FORGOTTEN AMD WHICH FEW INDIVIDUALS EVEN KNOW ABOUT. WE RECOGNIZE OTHER GENOCIDES CONSTANTLY: THE JEWISH GENOCIDE, THE CAMBODIAN GENOCIDE, THE GENOCIDES OF STALIN, LENIN, MAO, AND OTHER COMMUNIST DICTATORS, ETC., ETC. WHY IS THIS A GENOCIDE THAT WE SHOULD NOT RECOGNIZE?
