I would like to know if it is possible to email this article to
ecuadorian, and venezuelan newspapers to show these two leaders that all that was said was
"NOT A FABRICATION OF PRESIDENT BUSH or the Americans. That was their defense when approached about the findings in the computers.
I can translate and email this article but I need permission to do so.

I´m an Ecuadorian, definitively not a Correa follower, but I think that it is better to prove that the FARC helped or received help from Ecuador and Venezuela. Upon proving this, it will be easier to act upon a certain action. If none is proved, then these people will surely use it as a catapult towards their interests. Let's not be speculative, let's be right.

Funny how Uribe and Bush can get away with accusing others of terrorism. I guess it must be backwards day!

I'm doing a UN summit meeting for my school, and guess what? I'm Venezuela. So just when it seems were clean and have nothing to be accused of, this comes up and now I'm screwed.

In real life I'm glad they found the link between the FARC and Chavez, but on the other hand if anyone finds this I might as well just go hide in a corner with all the other discraceful countries.

Oppenheimer is a lier at the service of the Colombian drug cartel.

Alvaro Uribe or Dr Varito is number 82 in the US drug dealers list, George Bush is the number 1 criminal in the world. And we do not need fake computers to see that.

Oppenheimer why dont' you react to that and write some truths about your criminal masters!

Chavez, Correa, Morales, Ortega and Fidel are the pride of Latin America.

You Oppenheimer are a disgraceful lier hire to mislead the people. Hell is were you are going along with your masters Uribe and Bush.

Are you really that gullible Mercedes to believe anything Oppenheimer writes? this man is a mercenary pen writing lies to mislead people like you.

Use the internet to read real news, go to and learn some truth about the USA and their genocidal governments.

Breaking news! The CIA just discovered a laptop that they believe belong to George Bush and files found show him having sex with Alvaro Uribe!

It is official America, your president is a homo!

Mr Oppenheimer should read the actual Interpol report. The report states very clearly that Interpol was tasked with a very limited mandate - were the files changed or accessed after March 1st. Interpol says they were nt but also states that it is unable to confirm the source of the computers and that the computers were not handled in an internationally acceptable manner by the Columbians. The twisting of what Interpol's report says smacks of yet another pack of lies from the Columbians. Most probably supported by the US.

You should really ensure that your contributors report the truth and not lies.

Interpol proved only that the files were not tampered with, but could not in anyway prove that the laptop actually originated from a FARC camp. Therefore this article has no basis. More evidence is needed.

There is a reason why the Farc exists, they could have long ago been eliminated, just think how easy it was to topple Sadam Hussein.

Also to you ecuadorians and venezuelans who oppose the current governments of Correa & Chavez; it is aparent that you have little knowledge of your own country's politics. You prefer to support foreign oppression, rather than national prosperity. Your ignorance is blinding you from the truth and facts, you should read and research all the media reports and make your own analysis.

To us americans; we would be fortunate to have Rafael Correa as our president!! How the whole world would be different!

"...the fact is they've been caught red-handed supporting a terrorist group trying to topple the democratically elected government of Colombia."

No, the fact is NOT that, at all! The fact is that laptops, no matter what they're made of, do not survive bombings. The fact is that these files were fake, and the computer itself was programmed to contain them by the Colombian security forces between March 1 and 3. The FACT is that this whole story is bogus.

The fact is that Andres Oppenheimer is a professional liar. The FACT is that there are CIA plants at the New York Times, feeding you whatever the White House wants to believe. The FACT is that this is not journalism, it is propaganda.

The fact is that this story is already falling apart, no matter how OPPENHEIMER screams and yells--he's been caught red-handed lying to you, lying you into what will probably be another oil war. Venezuela, Ecuador--what have they in common? OIL. Plenty of it. And since the Middle East will soon run dry, guess where that next great war will come? That's right--where the oil is.

The FACT is that Manuel Marulanda died two months ago, and no one in Venezuela or Ecuador knew about it until the rest of the world did. Those presidents slandered as having "close ties to the FARC" found it all out no sooner than you or I. They heard it the same way we did--from an announcement sent out to the Colombian media.

There is NO solid proof, in the mythical laptop or anywhere, that there is any relationship between Chavez and Correa, and the FARC.

THAT is what the facts are.

Another fact: The government of Colombia is not so democratic. Its president is a well-known supporter of narcoterrorism--the State Dept. found that out in the 1990s when it found Alvaro Uribe keeping company with drug lord Pablo Escobar.

Plus there are all those right-wing paramilitary ties, not only with the "democratic" Uribe but also his senators and his own cousin. They murder left-wing activists as a matter of routine in Colombia; it's the world's worst place to be a trade unionist, too. Coca-Cola routinely gets union organizers whacked so it can keep getting its flavorings made in Colombia for cheap, and the paramilitaries are the ones sent to do the job. When is Oppenheimer going to scream about that, I wonder? And when will he admit that real democracies don't kill partisan and union leaders?

You are mentioning a whole pile of facts. By merely stating something as fact, does not make it one. As you are so factual, Please do state one fact by supporting it with more that this one word.
Firstly look up the word FACT
