With the alarming increase in the Helicobacter pylori associated diseases worldwide; a state of constant stagnation has been achieved in our understanding of the relation that exists between humans and this gastric pathogen. This article has tried to focus on all the different assumptions made till date and validate a definite role to this unique gastrogen (gastric pathogen). The acquisition of the cag-PAI has undoubtedly altered the host-microbe interactions would enable us to portray a comprehensible picture of its gradual transition from a commensal to a pathogen.

It is a rotton disease; it has been brewing in my stomach and intestines for probably over 20 years; test after test, after test, but not one DR. tested for H pylori, my opinion, because they wouldn't have made any MONEY off the INS. CO. Meanwhile it destroyed my Gall Bladder, still after that operation, get a clue doctors! they didn't test me, until I switched Dr's. for the 6th time and was in so much pain I couldn't stand it any longer; one who actually wants to heal people took a simple blood test and found it. Symptoms: pain in feet, bloating; stabbing pain in stomach above belly button; swelling & pain in right flank; high liver emsymes; GALL BLADDER destroyed by stones, Bladder with infections, bleeding; stool constipation w/ blood, white flakes(skin)in urine and stool.(that's the skin in the stomach lining being eaten away by bacteria) Take care of this thing before it destroys all your vital organs and it will or give you ulcers & cancer!!!!!!!!

3’ Region diversity of the cagA gene of H. pylori can be used a predictive marker of disease progression.
cagA gene of H. pylori plays a vital role in the tyrosine phosphorylation leads to the changes in the gastric tissues. CagA proteins were interacted with various host proteins that regulates the cell growth, cell motility and cell polarity. The biological significance and the pathogenesis of H. pylori infection is still remain an unknown fact. There for the present study used to correlate 3’variable region of cagA gene of H. pylori with different clinical outcomes. 104 clinical subjects were enrolled. 30 H. pylori strains were also isolated from these subjects. Out of 104 clinical subjects 95 of the subjects were found to be cagA positive. From our findings we cannot trace any correlation between cagA gene of H. pylori with clinical outcomes. All these subjects were used for the assessment of 5’ region and 3’ region and variable region of cagA gene. Our study shows that TPM and EPIYA motifs were also failed shown any significance with clinical outcomes from our study. EPIYA motifs are mainly used to detect the ancestry of the Indian strains. All the isolates showed an EPIYA pattern A/B/C type that of Western Origin with respect to previous reports. Variable region of cagA showed a significant association in the disease progressions. The clinical isolates amplified with large arm of variable region showed severe disease patterns compared with medium and short arms. Finally histpathologcal findings are also given a significant association when compared with this variability to prove this concept. In conclusion we found that these variability of cagA gene of H. pylori can be used a predictive marker of disease progression.
