Just what NASCAR needs, another unknown (to most NASCAR fans) driver from another series. You can't tell me that there aren't enough talented drivers racing the local tracks on Saturday nights. When will NASCAR recognize that its future lies in its roots. And the owners have too many cars. Teams should be limited to one or two cars, period. NASCAR is in a slow death and doesn't even realize it. It will either die, or learn a lesson from Tony George and the CART fiasco. George said Indy racing had gotten too technical, too expensive and was dominated by just a few teams, so he imposed new rules designed to reduce costs and make the racing more exciting for fans. CART said "we're the stars" then took their ball and tried to find another place to play. Everyone predicted Indy car racing would die because the "big names" were gone. Well, look and Indy racing now. And where's CART? Long gone after a slow painful death. Look at the empty seats in the stands NASCAR!!
