Felipe Massa has shown that he has simply not, until now, been given the same or as quick a car as Fernando Alonso:everyone NOW sees he is faster than Alonso. So how or why is this possible? Ferrari have, as has already been claimed, been using Massa as a test driver for Alonso. Was this Ferrari's idea or was it Alonso's idea? The answer lies in Ferrari's Santander sponsorship meaning that Massa has, despite the above, been used as a test driver.....None of this reflects well on Ferrari, F1 or Alonso who tried the same duplicity at Maclaren with Hamilton but we all know what happened there don't we....!? As Vettel said,'I can't understand Ferrari as regards Massa.....'- I think he knows only too well, don't you!!??

You are right in that! Given an equal car Massa is faster than Alonso.

When Massa outqualified Alonso on Saturday it was clear that he would be dropped behind Alonso. Breaking the seal on his gearbox was proof that Alonso could not handle his teammate being faster than him.

Massa has obviously been lifted up from a test driver to a racing driver for the last races. Next season he will be the same test driver again.

ha ha ha ha.....

Check telemetry, check history ...and check the cars ...all of them throghout Alonso's career and then talk !!!!... talk with the managers and drivers ... and then talk !!

It is clear that you would surrender your team options for a driver championship just to have it your way against Alonso !!...

Ferrari doesn't have the best car ... but they indeed are trying and going for the win with all the tools at hand ... allowed by the rules !!...which I still doubt the bulls do

If Massa isn't faster than Alonso, then why has he been faster lately? Any thoughts on that one?

Alonso is fighting for the WDC so it doesn't really make sense. Massa should be slower than Alonso.

Well put. Agreed.
In a way I feel sorry for Massa. He is deserving of so much better.

Last half of season indicate otherwise. And explain why Massa was ORDERED to let Alonso pass him on several occasions? If Alonso is so much better, then Massa would not have to be told to let Alonso pass, Alonso is so much better he could easily pass without an order. Look at the battles between Vettel/Webber, Hamilton/Button, Kimi/RoGro.

Scuderia is all about favoritism. Fact. Period.

Every bit of Massa is defined by team orders. He is not allowed to race, his only function is to support Alonso. The other teams, and battles I pointed out, did not involve team orders, favoring one driver over the other. We've seen countless times the teams battling it out. Just this past weekend in Brazil you saw Webber trying to stop Vettel. Were there orders to Webber to let Vettel through? No. Vettel earned his points. Alonso is handed points.

When Vettel caught Webber for the first time Webber moved aside and in the final laps he was ready to pull over if needed !

Check Massa classifica times throghout the year (no team orders, no favours, just your own speed and times) and you'll see why he didn't have an option but to support Fernando for the Championship!

Webber almost hit/pass Vettel but out of stupidity ... not intensions !!! Believing team orders do not exist now or in the past is pure blindness ! Ask Prost, Couldhart or Montoya in McLaren, ask Webber

All you Eyebrow fans should read this article I think Martin Whitmarsh knows what he is talking about here: http://formula1global.com/news/martin_whitmar...

Not so flattering for Flopsonso and we all know Santander buy him to be number UNO driver(payment driver in my mind)...not even giving a chance for Felipe to race equal Floplonso. Floplonso can't handle the pressure that comes in your own equal teammate like we saw in 2007. That's why Ferrari won't win any manufactors title loooooooooong as Floplonso is in the team....sorry guys. But that is really good for RB and Lotus...I'm really glad that Floplonso stay in Ferrari I hope he stay there for ever n ever :D. Eyebrow is not faster or better driver than Felipe just luckier to have Santander on his back....but how long that is the question? I think with that budget what Ferrari has should be now 3 drivers title n manufactors too but not.

Well said!

And yet we are supposed to think that Alonso was the one who "truly" deserved the championship.
