What the????!!!? Lose credibility? That has to be one of the most moronic statements ever. If anything it is making for a very exciting season. It is not cut-n-dry like the past few season.

So, you agree with Alonso when he says in that article:
"It's a fantastic season, it's so unpredictable. I think people stand in front of the TV, with some surprises every race. It's good for the audience, it's good for the sport to bring attention to the races," the Ferrari driver told CNN

Nevertheless we just might think a little on what Alonso and Button are saying and not just call them morons ...as they are the ones driving every week oppose to us just watching the tube ...

"It doesn't matter the talent, it doesn't matter the team, the performance - it's like a lottery. What you achieve in Formula One is not by chance. We need to make clear that if you win a race, it's because you did something better. And I don't think at the moment that this is clear for everybody."

We've seem the same cars and the same drivers performing differently in different races ... I guess there is what they're saying.

The word "credibility" is the one I can not figure out now, maybe they're talking about the evolution of technology and efford being diminish by other factors in every race allowing others not so "evolved" to win ...and the expectation of F1 success as a reward to successfull teams, drivers and the technology applied...opposed to other categories ...as GP2. So ...F1 could become a deviation of GP2 for example.

Hey ...not to get insulted .. just some thoughts !!

Let's see how this evolves ..

Monty....It seems as though Lewis and Fernando have gotten past the turmoil of 2007, and come to have an appreciation of each others talents, which may lead to some outstanding racing, between the two.

Last year Alonso was almost the only one supporting Lewis when everybody was demolishing him in favour of Button. Alonso has said it more than once, Lewis is one capable of extracting some extra speed from any car his driving ...let's leave it in 4/10ths ...ha ha !!!

I still think Lewis and Alonso have always get along very well and I personally held Ron Dennis responsible for that "disastrous" seasson and the media coverage propelled for his bad management!!

Hey 4 Mil.It's all good.Redneck has finally been sent to the insane asylumm for the mentally retarded.

What the matter? You got sick of following Vettel? Now back with ALO when leading the World Championship? lol whatever.

Can't wait for This Canada race.Hope it's a cracker but I have to wait till 4am! European races usually start at the perfect time of 10pm on a Sunday night here.No sleep till Montreal!

I wouldn't be surprised if Lewy joins Ferrari. What an awesome team that would be! I don't have a problem with it.It would work better than those 2 at Macca....aslong as Papa Lewy Anthony Hamilton doesn't make a comeback nosing around in the Garage and pitlane again like a desperado.

Enjoy the race:)

I think de Resta will get a Scuderia seat before Hammmy.

A driver has to earn his stripes to drive for the Reds.Massa comes from the different Schumi legacy of having a clear Number 1 and Number 2 driver but earned equal status during the Kimi years.Di Resta hasn't earned his stripes to drive for Ferrari and Perez would be higher on the list.Hamilton has definately earned those stripes to drive for Ferrari even more so than Vettel as Hamilton can get more out of a car that isn't always the best just like Alonso does.

G.....How's everything been out their in the outback.

Look...the worst thing that could happen for F1 today, would be to have Lewis and Fernando to be teamed together. Those two are today, the best drivers in F1, and need to be in seperate competitive teams, so that they will be able to go at each other on the track, without the problem of politics coming into play.

Lewis drove brilliantly to a terrific win today in Cananda, and in a post race interview that I had seen today, he said.... " the person that I was most conserned with was.....Fernando. "!

Hey Lawrence.I don't live in the outback but on the Coast like 95% of Ozzies! Hows the Badlands? or do you live at the bottom of the Grand Canyon? haha

I don't care where Lewy goes or stays. It just would be nice to see Alonso kick his ass at Ferrari. That's why you don't want him to go to Ferrari because Alonso will beat him twice as much as Button did last year.Haha

By the way,Good win by lewy in Canada!.Great drive as Alonso's gamble to stay out on tyres that turned into paper went up in smoke.

See ya next race in Spain

I meant Perez, reading back not sure why I wrote di Resta. I may have been reading an article and his name was still fresh in my head.

Hamilton has deep loyalties with McLaren. Time will tell.

Agreed, Vettel won't see a seat with SF.

I'm not an Alonso fan, but I must admit he has been impressive this year considering the poor car.

But leaves to question, who is the top pick for replacing Massa next season. I think regardless of Massa's performance this year he will not be resigned with Scuderia. If Hamilton pulls off a good season (as it does appear) he will likely remain with McLaren.

I still wish Kubica a full recovery and return to F1. Had the accident not happened he would have likely been top pick for the coming vacant seat with SF.

Yeah Kubica continues to improve very slowly and after being able to drive a road car again,he had yet another operation on his elbow about a month ago to get more movement back in his arm.I wouldn't be surprised if he tests an F1 car within the next year or so.

I think Ferrari will probably go for Webber next year to replace Massa with all his experience and feedback.Maybe the perfect Number 2 as he has been for Vettel and Webber is someone that can beat anyone on his day and finish regularly in the points too.
After Webber it will likely be Vettel,Perez or maybe even Kubica!

Gee that overtake was hard hey Lawrence!.Press the DRS button against a driver with no tyres left! lol

I loved it how Alonso came out infront after the 1st Pitstop when he was behind both Ham and Vet before the stops.Shame about the rest of the race.

Hadn't given much thought to Webber, but yea that seems a logical choice. He has pretty much been a #2 driver. But didn't he recently sign on for another year or two with RB?

I don't think Vettel will drive for Ferrari. I just don't see it. Besides he is locked in with RB through 2014 season.

Leaves only possible choices in Hamilton and Perez. I don't think Hamilton for the reasons I stated in previous post. Button maybe? I know! Schumacher! LMAO!
