I don't have any idea where you live, but here in New York City all of SPEED's broadcasts of F1 races are live, except for 5 races which are taped delayed programs shown on Fox for terrestrial viewing!
Annapolis. Maybe it is our provider. But I'm pretty certain more than 5 tape delayed here.

<quoted text>DavidH64, I bet SpeedTv will show all the races you see.
Gaz, SPEED will show all of the races except for 5, which will be broadcasted on a station here called FOX for terrerstrial viewing, which is owned by Rupert Murdoch. FOX's broadcast of the races last for only 2 hours, opposed to a much better 2 1/2 hour SPEED production. The amount of commercials that are shown during a FOX broadcast, would cause those who are use to watching a F1 race on the BBC, to put their foot through their tv's.....it's horrible!

OH.....SPEED is owned by FOX.

Giving that to Prost was all politics.
Yea I have 'Senna' on DVD, seen it many times. It is hard to watch. My wife gets tears too. She was never a fan of racing until me. LOL
Track days with the local Ferrari club, and watching F1 has made her a fan. She and the other wives go on and on, "Boys and their toys", as we fly around the track. She thinks Vettel is cute, Nico a hottie, and Schumy sexy. What can I say, we German men are good looking. LOL WOMEN!
DavidH64,How is it you don't follow your fellow driver more or are you like myself it's all about the racing, talent and not so much the drivers themselves. You wife sounds to me as if you have the best of both worlds what more can you ask lol. My girl friend at the time I took to a few F1 races with me, she stuck around and married me, so I must have done something right, lol. She put up with me racing and stayed with me putting up with pits and all the side you don't see, so I can't complain.

I do follow the drivers. Tho true, it is more of a passion of driving than the drivers themselves. I will forever be a fan of Andretti (from my first GP), Senna, Schumacher, Raikonnen.

I would like to see Kubica back. But honestly, I don't think he will ever be as good because of his rally injuries. He was definitely WDC material.

Kobayashi is someone that given the right car (and consistent) could see a WDC. He has impressed me.

di Resta, time will tell, he is young and only going into his 2nd year. He did very well in DTM.

DavidH64,I would echo all you have said, I wonder if we will see Paul in Mercedes at some point.
If you don't mind me asking how is it your English is better than mine and can you get the F1 website at home

Lawrence,DavidH64,

As Lawrence will know,we both tried to build a forum here once before and there is little control here and some people were hell bent on destroy it.

I tried hard to keep the peace and Lawrence did too. I have enjoyed myself over the past few days, I wish Topix would give people a bit more control on a forum because a post here can be destroyed so easy and I am a bit to old for it all. Do you guys have any ideas for the coming season ????

My father is American, mother German. Born in Germany, raised in America, Germany, and Singapore. Most of my years in USA. Studied in private American schools. My son lives in Wiesbaden, married to a beautiful German lass, with 3 handsome blonde hair blue eyed sons.

Currently I am living in USA, Annapolis. My wife is Singaporean. I live between here and my home in Singapore. Frequent visits to Germany to be with my son and grandsons.
