Mercedes are doing just fine, as a constructor, as a supplier, and finally on the track. They aren't going anywhere. "Tiregate" couldn't potentiay have done any critical harm, as McLaren has shown in the past. McLaren was completely thrown out of the World Constructors Championship, the one that actually pays winnings (World Drivers Championship is worth zero dollars) and returned for subsequent seasons.
