That was a very encouraging lap for sure but one lap doesn't make a season. Let's hope he can get cars like that on a regular basis. If does he's going to be tough.

As long as he's fast at Indy like last year I want him to get Indy but I'm not putting all my eggs in one basket. I would also like to see Reed do well and some of the sleepers, it's an underdog thing.

i think chase this year , i also look for a big offer from a f1 team in the next 2 or 3 years ,why ? becouse the middle of the pack teams in f1 need the edge that JPM can provide.. just a humble opinion...

He has 4 more years on his contract with Ganassi and he hated f-1 I don't think he'd go there or back to open wheel ever. He likes Nascar. I like him in Nascar I see him drive alot more then when he was overseas.

Can't wait for the new season! This is probably the 3rd year, well not quite, but almost 2 years now racing in stock car he should be having quite a good experience of stock cars and he should be starting to pull out some decent results now.

Actually he has been driving these big heavy stock cars for a year and four months now! But when you look back on what he has already accomplished last year as a rookie! It is really something quite amazing! I don't think that any other driver comming from open wheele could do anywhere as good as him, He's a quick study to boot! and I can't wait to see him grow in to the sport this year, It will be interesting to see how well the other open wheel drivers do in their rookie seasons! Has anyone else noticed how good the Toyota cars have done in practice? I am hoping that Ganasi will switch to Toyota engines for next season, by then Montoya will have the experience he needs to contend for wins on a regular basis, and with a really good car with a Toyota engine! he will be unstoppable!

I predict Juan will win 3 races this year and make the chase, but i dont think he'll win the cup title yet. Ganassi dont have the equiptment that Hendrick have. But i heard someone mention Dodge getting newer stronger engines? If that is true then i think he can win the cup. Look what good equiptment did to Dale jr so far.

Won't happpen, F1 does not need another big mouth, with half a brain and limited driving skills...they already have Alonso for that. Sorry to say but Nascar are stuck with the Columbian Drug lord.

Oh I forgot! Redneck Bob from Atlanta is the one who is the accomplished race car driver with two world championships, a champ car championship, an Indy 500 win, two Rolex 24 hrs of Daytona wins, the decrowner of the great Michael Schumacher, scouted out by the worlds top racing teams, known by name all around the world, making over 10 million dollars a year and adoring fans in almost every part of the world! and Montoya and Alonso are the half brained no skilled losers who sit at their computer, besmirching people who they don't like all day long!

Maybe in Redneck Bob's little world! the one he created for himself! he really is better than those two elite athletes of the world! lol everybody!

I think JPM is focused in NASCAR now and will not hear about anything else in the comming year ! Wishfull thinking must be faced with reality also ! In NASCAR he could be (hopefully) among the top drivers and it is enough of a challenge for him !!
