I thought Speed Channel was a national network. Maybe you should contact your local cable provider and tell them to drop your fishing channel and replace it with Speed.

A GT 24 hours of Indy would be a great warm up event ahead of the motorcycle race. The drivers at Daytona looked like they were having a blast.

I went one year (when Arie Luyendyk won it with Didier Theys), and I had a blast. Sunset with the cars was a memorable experience. Back then you could have something big go wrong, fix it in the pits for like an hour, and then go back out and win it. It's really cool how incredibly competitive it is now, and moreover how remarkably reliable the machines are. I think any race fan should go once in their life.

I think it's nuts how bad the car looks after 24 hours and how do some of them keep up? It's amazing and lots of fun to watch. Oh and Ganassi got the 3 peat :)

i watched and really enjoyed the race. congrats to ganassi. a first for me...and yeah, the cars look really bad after the race.
