I think this is disgusting and Craig Pollock should be blindfolded, given his last Lucky Strike cigarette, and shot at dawn. I have never been so glad to hear about the "turfing" of somebody as I have been of CP. The weasel has stolen his last dollar from JV - I hope it stays that way. Barry Green is the guy JV needs. I hope he is able to pull together a proper deal and that we see JV back in Nascar SOON - VERY SOON!

Craig told JV that the ride was secured. He had no idea the funding wasn't in place, this is bullcrap! It made it look like he failed when he didn't! I really like Jacques demeanor now though he's not freaking out he's staying calm. I believe it will work out he's got be marketable. Why is he looking Canada for a big sponsor? I hope he's looking her as well. I can't wait for him to get back and prove he can do it, I know he can.

The person who wrote this blog has hang ups from F-1 it's obvious. How did he "sell out" to Nascar? That's stupid, he likes Nascar and so does Juan so what's that telling this fool at the F-1 atmosphere. F-1 is the best racing in the world my a--!

Hey Lets Go stay cool man! I think Nascar got enriched by JV, Monty and others moving in there- I must admit till Monty came in I never really heard of Nascar (being in fuddy duddy ole europe)- but since then I became a fan and am just PF like mad that we don't get TV coverage any more- now that really sucks! We supposed to get highlights Mondays- but like the fiasco past weekend we get nothing----------I am so mad!
I am sure JV will get himself sorted ( as long as he doesn't volunteer to sing any national anthem or anything- his pop career can only be described as - yeah well......)Lol

I can't wait for the day when NASCAR becomes International and there's drivers from all over the world. Flags from all Nations flying and a F-1 atmosphere. Could be fun.

jacques is taking the right approach by backing off .there`s no sense wasting his talents driving for a team that is not competitve. he needs barry green to take control and build a team with the top people available.this way he will give himself the best chance for success in the long haul.

I'm hoping for a good outcome especially like everyone said in the media that race in Canada will be important to him I wasn't aware it was the one named after Gills. The blog is what pissed me off, not the situation I guess it's not F-1's fault it's the bloggers, I want to rip them a new one so to speak, lol.

If guys like Kyle Petty (the moving pylon) and ken Shrader would retire, there would be more room for new drivers in NASCAR. Unfortunatley guys can drive until they are 50 yrs. in the sport and with the points system and it's qualifying exemptions the set iup is very hard for a driver to break in if he does not have a full ride with an existing team.

I think we're seeing that now with Carpentier he should have a spot.

I can't believe he can't get sponsorship. Here's to hoping he finds some.

Most of his short life he lived in Europe but he always was proud to keep his claim Canadian, and this how we repay him? Shame on Canadian companies. "Why do they have to sponsor him you say" Because they can that's why!!!

Your Canadian companies are far to PC to want to sponsor someone in the evil pollution spewing sport of racing. They are way to fickle to understand patriotism and loyalty to be honest.

Bombardier spews fumes into the pure white north every day with 6 zillion snow mobiles, not to mention what other transportation projects they manufacture on a regular basis.
But yes, shame on Canada for turning a blind side to a favorite son
