Unless you are under 5' 5" you most likely will not have to look up to JV, but I think all past WDC's are considered champions for eternity.
Most drivers in F1 or any form of racing would love to have those" flash in the pan" credentials. When F1 drivers reach the double digit win column it's a wee bit more than luck, even in Jacques case. His performance in CART, LeMans, and Indy kind of also backs up more than luck. Anyway, you don't like the guy, we all know that. No words will change your opinion, but the stats are there, so like it or not.
