Give me a break. The NASCAR drivers are full of it. In NASCAR, 40 drivers between 19 and 65 routinely drive three abreast in the turns, which are only in one direction after all. So, it can't be that hard.
Winning, of course is another thing, and winning regularly even harder. But the idea that Montoya and Villenue can't jump in a Cup car next Sunday and drive around is absurd. That's like telling a jet fighter pilot that flying a Cesna is a bit more difficult than it looks!
Hey Death Bredon, how is that comment working out for you six years later?

Hahaha JPM has 2 wins and a average finish of 19.6 over his Nascar Cup career, but it's easy for F-1 drivers to get in a stock car and win lol!

ol jpm needs himself a good team or he'll always look foolish n weak in stockcars! Put the blocke in a hendricks or gibbs car and see the results! Mcmurry too! Drivers of this caliber don't need this trainingwheels team that is egr!
if montoyer don't shop himself around to some decent teams for next season then he is delusional!

Lets me recall ... Mario Andretti, F1 Champ, also won the Indy 500, AND THE DAYTONA 500.

Name one stock-car driver to graduate to F1 and win even a single, minor race.

Sure, Juan Pablo is going to struggle to be winner right away (though he's already taken one Busch race). But, from day one he could drive in the field without any problem. Not a single stock car driver could do that in F1.

F1 is simply the pinnacle of international motorsport whereas stock-car racing, as demanding as it is, is no where near that level. BTW, even the mid-pack F1 drivers make loads more than Jimmie Johnson or Jeff Gordon.
Duh, Mario Andretti started out as a stock car/NASCAR driver.

Then he went to F1 and dominated.

Hardly makes your case.
