2007 would have been the breakout year if they had an established team with POINTS... this year, they will get many wins. GO TONY IN YOUR TOY!

My prediction for Toyota in 08 is the Joe Gibbs team has done their homework and will come out of the box at Daytona smoking. That's an intended pun. "Smoking", get it? Allmendinger is going to have hotrod. I look for MWR to make the top 35 and make races consistently with Reutimann's car but struggle as usual with the other cars. If Bill Davis can keep his financial problems straight, he will have a couple of good Toyotas. I think the Ford teams will be the step children of NASCAR this year.

Funny because the only differnce between a "toyota" and a "chevy" in NA$CAR is the fake stickers of headlights on the nose. THE CARS ARE THE SAME. Seriously I would feel better if the teams just said they were "sponsored by toyota"

I'd have to agree with you regarding the Ford Teams this year. Hopefully Dodge will do better this year. It would be nice for Kasey, Elloit and Juan, IMO

thanks for your prodiction I have a feeling its going to be a HMS vs JGR deal this year. HMS look like they didn't lose anything either during the short time off.

Toyota is willing to spend the money needed for them to be one of the top brands in Nascar. it is just a matter of time, and if they get some lucky breaks this year, it could be their year. time till tell.

I think toyota is going to do well even though I would like to see them fall on their slanted eyed faces.

Everybody likes competition that is what Racing is all about!!! You should of seen when Dodge came to Nascar everybody also made fun of them. Saying your cars are slow and can not compete with Chevy and Ford.

Yeah, people are such dopes. Ultimately all the cars are the same and none has an advantage over the other.

Thats why NASCAR has to recruit all the open-wheelers to come over and drive the "spec car"

I think that they will - they are already lapping the fastest times and according to a media report JGR is clocking faster practice times compared with last year.

I think JGR biggest problem will not be cars or speeds or equipment - it's having the boys - Tony, Denny and Kyle - all get along and work together.

I think some of last years problems was more with Toyota not having driver's like Tony Stewart or Denny Hamlin behind the wheel. Just my thought.
