Sounds like sour grapes to me! JV is bitter after not achieving what he would have liked in the sport, apart from his first couple of years of course. Jacques, please just stick to singing poorly!

Hamilton has brought renewed interest to the sport, and I see nothing dirty about his tactics. He's made the sport more enjoyable to watch. Can somebody tell me why that is such a bad thing?

Kellan it is because they LOVE to knock a winner basically. He's a breath of fresh air & there will always be haters for that in many walks of like unfortunately.

I agree it does sound like sour grapes from JV too, e spent too many years rotting in a team that he could do nothing with & his regret must be so strong. I used to like him as well :(

Now enough with that potty mouth, we all know Jacques expressions get the bettr of him "sometimes", and we don't need Jacques telling us how Lewis drives. He is good, real GOOD, lets just hope he keeps it up. If he wins todays race in Montreal, he'll be NO:1 in my book.

Jacques has been hounded By the British Press for years, espessialy itv s Martin Brundle, although his co-commentator James Allen who insists that Gilles Villeneuve was the greatest driver to this day in F1, has not commented to much on Jacques, negativity anyway, maybe that is one of the reasons itv is trying to get rid of him.

Sorry JV fan, my apologies, I really did not mean to call JV a jealous little dickhead, what I meant was he's a F***ing stupid, ignorant, useless, jealous little Canadian dickhead. Clear enough.

Be careful though bob, we don't want JV spending TOO much time in the studio cos he may produce some more dreaful music & realise into the world.

JV fan what makes you say ITV wants to be rid of James Allen? I recently saw him talk about spending more time w/ his lil' boy but that not affecting his F1 contract.

WHAT!!! You don't like his music? LOL Welcome to Canada, we don't like it neither.

I'm sorry, It's the public who wants him out, not itv, not yet anyway.
This is what Ross Brawn had to say.

Ross Brawn slates ITV F1 coverage
The poor quality of current F1 TV coverage has finally been given regard by an important figure in the F1 community. Ross Brawn, on sabbatical from Ferrari, has watched the first three races of the F1 season on TV from the UK and reckoned:

Itís a very frustrating business to watch F1 on British TV. Itís definitely a new experience for me to watch it with a different perspective and also the quality of commentators on English TV.

Weíre used to having all the data and all the split times and we can see the race developing. Whatís clear when you watch it on the TV is that you donít get that information. Our commentators donít seem very good at conveying what is going on.

Itís very frustrating to watch a race and not have that information which is available to everyone at the track. So condolences for that.

Live split time information is available from the official F1 site but the data relayed on screen to TV viewers typically only shows how many pit stops each driver has had.

What is particularly interesting is that Brawn almost certainly watched F1 on ITV (unless he re-tuned a satellite dish to pick up Setanta) and chose to criticise the commentators. ITVís Martin Brundle is well-regarded by many fans.

But James Allen is widely unpopular and there are even petitions to have him replaced - a fact that many Ďin the businessí choose to ignore.

Brawnís specific remark,ďOur commentators donít seem very good at conveying what is going on.,Ē really struck a chord with me. Time and again when watching motor sport the commentators seem to spend too little time talking about whatís going on on-track up and down the field, and too much time talking generally about the drivers. This does not just apply to F1 - GP2 on Eurosport is the worst.

But now that someone important has spoken out, will someone even more important - i.e. Bernie Ecclestone - take notice?

We can take no more. That we now find the sections by Louise Goodman tolerable, that our houses echo with cries of "why will he not shut up?", that the pain of Murray leaving our screens gets worse by the fortnight. For the love of all that is F1, we shout "SHUT UP JAMES ALLEN!"

Im not implying james don't make mistakes, he does, you should hear some of the stuff over here, you would crack up, especially on SPEED channel.

Belive me Jack or any Canadians dont want to be Americans, they are ignorent and morons ant they think that they know everything but they know shit.

I Cant belive that you know that you are south of our border.

Pls redneck Bob you and all Americans should stop breathing because all the air pollution that you are making is creating smog in here.

Finally if you think that we are scared of everything come and tell that to us face to face.

Can ask you a question?

Gilles Never had time to be scared he was killed instantly, but at least he had balls, and of course he raced for a decent team too, well ok the best team ever.

You bunch of confused French, no Canadian, no French Canadian's really are a funny lot, shit scared of the entire world but have the biggest mouths until challenged. What's that old story about the smallest book in the world? oh yes the book of French war heroes. Jack does not want to be an American, yet he wants to hurry south of the border and drive Nascar. As for the rest, not worth commenting on, the garbage you spew out of you pie hole, is not worth discussing. Viva la ummmm Well Canada, no France, no Quebec. Even your own country is totally confused, seems those in Quebec are not too sure what language to actually speak hey. Get over it now, Froggie, you lot are pathetic, still playing Jack's cd in your car are you.
