If you don't have a clue about what you're talking about, please stay off the forums. He was with Honda in FORMULA ONE. Do you know what Formula One is? It's not the same as the IRL, okay? But then again, you can probably find a connection between Earnhardt Jr. leaving DEI and how that hurts Tony George somehow.

A great addition to the ALMS. Will be a well run and competitive team. This is a great series. If the team is based in Indy with Honda backing. Could it be that DeFerran might enter a Indy Car in the 500 under his direction. Will be interesting who his driver to be named is.

Oh, lets' see, AJ4 is with Vision, Jay Howard has a ride with Roth, Alex Lloyd has a ride with Ganassi. Hideki Mutoh (non-champ) has a ride with AGR. That's where they are.

AJ has a ride based on his name in the founder of the IRL’s car. What has he proven in an Indy Car?
Hideki Mutoh: yes lets not forget the Honda paid driver that went to AGR.
Lloyd has a development deal; he’ll run some Grand Am and test for the IRL team.
I’m not ripping the series, just pointing out that there isn’t a large talent pool to choose from coming from IPS.

Best news I ve heard in a while. So happy to see my favorite driver back in the cockpit. Too much talent not to be road racing. On another note
why is there so much whining on or about IRL. Who cares?? Start another thread. Every time I look on a comment board its this kind of crap. Grow up babies.
This is news on Gil De Ferran not some 2nd rate series.
