I told ya he would go to Merc.LOL
My respect for Lewy has actually grown because of this.It takes guts to move away from one of the best teams in F1 and Macca are always pretty much a sure thing that theyll produce a great car year after year, but Lewy finally got tired of being in the Nest especially when that Macca nest from the age of 13 only started to get in the way of his personal growth because of too much support!! It's like a pathetic dude that still lives with his mom and dad at the age of 30 or more and knows hes not a real man yet until he becomes independent!

Lets see what he can do at Merc.

I'm stoked for Perez going to Macca. He's definately one of my fav drivers and is automatically a championship contender next year!

Looks like the grid will be even more competitive next year when Alonso lines up in his awesome Ferrari as 3xWDC!!! Wow.

Now that 6/10ths major threat will be sidelined next season, I can really see Fernando becoming a 4xWDC at the end of the 2013 season.

Lewis just ****** up!!!!

Holly macaroni !!!!!!

Wow !!

Well, let's see how Perez does it in a big team with big pressure and with Ron Dennis in the shadows. I don't expect him to contest for the WC to soon, my opinion. Very few people can execute well in a big team at such an early stage in their careers ...you have to have the mind and eagerness of people like ...like ... LEWIS HAMILTON !!!!!!!

..and regarding Lewis ... R.E.S.P.E.C.T.!!!!!! I, as an alonso-ist workshipper, bow to him !!!!

Come on Alonso, come on Lewis ...win me another championship in a different team ...you can do it ... you're the ones who can do it !!!!...and not necessarily with the best car in town!!

I guarantee you that Fernando is sipping the champagne, after the anouncement that Lewis has signed on with Mercedes was made.

Monty stop the bulls**t, your happier than a pig in s**t, because you know that a majot threat towards 6/10ths, in securing the 2013 WDC has been eliminated with Hamilton's signing on with Mercedes.

What a load of shit you are saying Lawrence.I rate Vettel and Raikkonen as better drivers than Lewy.

Well...the truth is ... NO...and make no mistake, remember, for me Alonso could walk on water if asked, so ... I never doubt he can win the WC even with Lewis driving the same car as him. I am not particularly worried about Lewis taking the WC from Alonso this year, or Vettel ...just cross my fingers for no DNF for the rest of the season and there we'll have Alonso's third title.

BUT ... BUT... Lewis moved was corageous and bold, you can look at it as an stupid change leaving the security and strength of a team like McLaren for an unknown bet at Mercedez...BUT BUT ...this can mark the sign of a true champion and leyend if pulled rigth. Time will tell...not necessarily next year.

See?, I first thought Lewis was going to blow his tires with these new rules and compounds. I really thought he was not going to go very far with his kind of driving and aggressiveness on the track and with the tires ...BUT BUT ...he proved me wrong !! He also showed me he can drive and perform well even with a not perfect or well balanced car...and now he makes this impressive move. See?, he could win one or more WC with McLaren but if he does it with Mercedez they will be of more value and will go into history with a different view...the view of leyends !

Lawrence, can you tell me if Lewis can walk on water?... I'm ready to believe !!!

Every year I think he is going to win it.

After giving this alot of thought I also give Hamilton some respect, after all he did leave his beloved Mclaren. However going from Martinwitmarsh to Brawn is always a good move. So i guess maybe Hamilton might know what he's doing after all. Perez just secured his future with this move. Not only does he have a shot at a title but when and if he leaves mclaren, most top teams would be intrested in him (given that he performs well, which im sure he will)

Alonso, Button, Hamilton, Vettel and now possibly Perez for the hunt next season... wow!

I got the new F2012 for PS3 and played the new american course (kinda funky imo lets see how it looks in real life) the game is cool and DRS and KERS is pretty cool (used KERS at spa and almost got launched off the track lol)

You might think that Vettel and Raikkonen are better than Lewis, but I don't. It seems as though Fernando would agree more with me regarding Vettel, rather than you, when he said the following about......Hamilton.

" Lewis is so fast, aggressive, totally focused. He is interested only in Victory. Sebastian has not quite reached that level."

" I know he is a two time world champion, but he is still slightly below the level of Lewis."

" I have said he is the only one capeable of winning without having the best car. The others win if the car is good, and when the car is not good, they do not win."

I rate Vettel and Kimi more because they don't tend to screw up as much as Lewy and have the same speed,if not more at times.Vettel, and Kimi especially know the boundaries of wheel to wheel racing skill which is something Lewy lacks.Lewy is also not known for giving great feedback to his engineers.

Now that you,4 Mil and probably even Redneck Bob are Alonso fans, who are we gonna argue with and bash the shit out of?? lol

I've sort of calmned down since Hamilton has joined Mercedes, and will still remain a huge fan, but still that hasn't changed my mind regarding Fernando, who's performance you truly have to admire this year, which can only help you to becoming a fan of Alonso.

I'm no longer a Massa or Schumacher fan. Alonso is the best. Thought I should make that point.

I am sure what I might be saying below is not any novel or value added info…but I thought I would spell out my irritated views.
Thoughts Alonso MIGHT be the best over all, but the car Ferrari is giving him is burning him out race by race...unfortunately Ferrari so far is no longer the team we knew during Schumi or Kimi...And now after all the time in the world, they come out blaming their outdated wind tunnel to be the main reason behind their performance failure...seriously? WTF.
I feel outraged for Fernando that all the Ferrari weight is upon his shoulders...he cant keep winning races only because it rained or on some misfortune of other drivers...on most tracks, his car on an average is 0.3/0.5 slower...no top speed and no grip...and no wonder why Massa is failing most of the time…cant put on a good show from the back of the grid...and not only that...the strategies during the races are not well managed...more or less, its the same team that messed up in the last Abu Dhabi race 2010 losing the championship spoiling the party.
Both Alonso & Massa need a car that can qualify well in the front with the top teams, fight out with good tire management, and celebrate podiums.
Perhaps there is still hope to improve the car...but all I can say at the moment...good luck again Fernando because that’s all you need to maintain your lead to the title.

Ferrari is no slouch. Fernando doesn't need the fastest car on the grid. its just a development race. Right now Red Bull and Mclaren have found something that Ferrari has yet to find. At one point of the season Ferrari was ahead then Williams even Mercedes! Ferrari will find it I just hope its quick! Alonso is doing great and showing why he beat Schumacher 2 years in a row (and replaced his seat..even Kimi) lol

I was just messing around Lawrence. Its better to have you as an Hamilton fan anyways! lol I think Hamilton's move is showing character and even a new phase in his racing. Who knows maybe Schu really is passed his prime. He's not working with RD anymore and MW sure is no Brawn. When he won the championship with Button everyone knew all he needed was funding to really stay as a consistent WDC threat. It may just work out now that Mercedes is clearly investing into Brawn. Hes got the bucks and the right driver again. Its the Brawn recipe for WDC lol.
