PITTSBURGH STEELERS Big questions: Can the Steelers handle success? They couldn't in 2006, when they came off a Super Bowl victory only to lose six of their first eight games.

They were very lucky last year, all the pieces just fell in for them, they didn't have to play anyone who had beaten them in the regular season in the playoffs (Philly, Indy, NYG's, Titans)while playing a LT-less 9-7 SD and a tired Ravens team and then barely beating the lowly 9-7 Cards for the SB, it ain't gonna happen this year.

Ever tried logic? Did you notice that in every case they beat the teams that BEAT the teams you list? And that the four losses you list were the ONLY ONES IN THE SEASON?(A 12-4 team couldn't possibly be as "lucky" as you suggest.) In the losses to the Giants and Colts, they statistically massacred both of those teams, then lost on fluky plays. Philly legitimately whipped the Steelers early in the year, when everyone on their o-line was still learning each other's names. The Titans solidly beat the Steelers as well, but that loss looked pretty fluky as well when they were proven to be overrated in not being able to hold serve at home in the playoffs. The Cards 9-7 record was essentially meaningless, since anyone who even remotely understands football saw that they were a different team in December and January than they had been all year, cleaning the clocks of the best teams the NFC could throw at them. Now put your face back in that puddle of drool and go to sleep.

The Steelers beat everyone they faced in the playoffs. The teams who didn't get to face the Steelers are teams who had lost previously in the play offs. How is that lucky? The best team won the super bowl and that's that. Champions again.
