It looks like it's time for the younger guys to step up and show what they can do. This is a big chance for 2nd year receivers Johnnie Lee Higgins and Jonathan Holland plus rookie Chaz Schilenz. Todd Watkins was a training camp wonder, but hasn't been heard of much in the regular season. This is their chance so hopefully they can take advantage of it.

Higgins and Schilenz both looked pretty good today but we need more than just them. I'd like to see them try McFadden as WR and use Fargas and Bush as the primary running backs. I also think it would fit Russell's ability better if we went to a 3WR/1RB offense as our primary formation if we can get the WRs for it.

They did play well. Goodbye Curry, Goodbye Walker. Agreed McFadden is good at WR and they lined him up there a lot today. The play calling was definitely worked to Bam Bam's strengths. The coaching staff did a great job and Cable showed he can score points. Bottom line, Cable made it easier for Al to keep him as the head coach. If they can travel east and put in on the Bucs like they did today, how can Al fire Cable?

In addition to the WRs, Henderson did a very good job with Mario Williams. At some point, Cable will learn that the spread offense at the goal line will equate to TDs.

I wish I had seen the game...Seems like we made a small step in the right direction with use of talent and coaching..but we do have to keep in mind it was the Texans.

Too bad you did not get to see the game. I would characterize it as more than a small step. It was a big step. Why? No penalities, open receivers and ball in the hands of playmakers. When Cable learns to spread the offense in the Red-Zone, Seabass will get fewer short FGs. As far as the Texans comment, I watched the Texans outplay the Titans and they came in on a well-deserved four game winning streak. This is really not a case of diminishing the win because it was the Texans. The Texans have been playing solid football. This was more of a case of the Raider players and coaching staff bringing and executing their 'A' game.

Beating the lame Texans was like beting the Lions. Best part of the game was the attempt at running a wildcat play and getting it blown by a false start call on the O...Raiders are a joke. 4-11....just win baby...roflmao!

This team is too stupid to run trick plays.

Higgins and McFadden both showed that they can do amazing things when the ball is in their hands. I wish they would've shown some of Schilenz's catches on the highligh reel. By the way Tom Flores and Greg Papa were talking, they could not believe any of the catches he made. Having Curry, Walker and Lelie out of the way really made way for these youngsters to show what they can do and we looked like a much better football team in the passing game. Plus very few penalties.
