Im leary of giving up Gerhart but I dont think he'll stay anyway.Gerhart has proven he can carry the load when Peterson was out.Gerhart will start somewhere or at least be in more of a rotation than here so we better start looking for a replacement.

gerhart will be a backup anywhere he goes. He has no agility 3 yards and a cloud of dust. His most memorable moment is 3 fumbles in 3 minutes in the 4th quarter against the 49ers. That said Zack Line makes Gerhart look like Marshall Faulk. We need a change a pace back a 3rd down back with speed and hands to backup Peterson.

Take a look at this bum.

If Peterson get hurt God forbid Ponder's toast with Gerhart and (Zack) running like his last name In a straight (Line).

When Peterson got hurt in 2011 Gerhart averaged 4.9 yards per carry...90.3 yards from scrimmage per game .Not to shabby for someone with limited playing time.

I would trade off Gerhart if the Vikes can find someone this year when Gerhart has more worth also I would trade Kevin Williams no only is he getting old last season He had 20 solo tackles & 11 Ast. a total of 31 tackles & only 2 sacks. each year his play is declining. Time to get some kind of value for our players. We let Pat Williams retire when if they would have traded him the year before they could have got a future draft pick anything is better then nothing.

4.77 40 no wiggle he's a sitting duck in the NFL. We need a little scat back with agility and hands not a straight line running back like line and Gerhart to offset Peterson. One in the mole of Jahvid Best who doesn't get hurt.
