Okay, just to clarify a few things. Two of those three interceptions came from lame duck passes by Donovan McNabb in the Philly game. They had nothing to do with skill, my grandmother could have made those two plays. Secondly, I know at least one of Ted Ginn's TD kickoff returns were called back because of poor special teams play by Allen. Finally, I remember reading three or four articles just like this last year. I hope Allen does have a break out year in 2008, but I think the odds of another Dolphin draft pick--a Channing Crowder, or a Vernon Carey, or even a Yeremiah Bell-- breaking into greatness is alot more likely than Jason Allen.
Yeah..so true, Those INT's don't count because they were bad passes. If they were good passes though they wouldn't have been INT's.....hmmm, how to reconcile this paradox? Oh I got it! You're a retard.

Jason Allen has to prove he is worth any draft pick on the field on sundays before we get on the band wagon. Wow he made a few lucky plays against a 4th string defense ... I dont care how fast Jason is or which school he came from !!! show us on sundays !!! I would be shocked if he does !!! another wasted pick by the past idiots !!! prove us wrong Jason !!!!!!

THAT JUST DOESN'T SOUND RIGHT ......!!!!
He said that because he has no talent back there !!! thats why our defense lives on the field !!! we have the worst secondary in the NFL !! If you were a coach and played the fins you would throw deep alot and complete a few long ones for scores Loseman looks like Marino when he plays us.. Lee Evans loves to play the fins ...

Bill P. is like us he wants to win now but he has only so much talent available. And the mess he took over is unreal !! once he gets set lines on both sides of the ball he will start drafting weapons to plug the holes..he has done a good job so far adding some players its just not enough. jason ferguson Reggie Torbor, chad P., the linebacker and TE. From big D. Bill will find a couple guys that can cover a reciever and will stick an arm in there to block a pass instead of watch the recievers catch balls that should be knocked down..Bill gets pissed like we do rebuilding or not he doesnt want to lose.

Miami WILL win the opener against the Jets.

Oh yeah and one more thing: JAY FEELY SUCKS!!

What a crybaby I'm glad he's gone. To take parting shots at the team's talent level (or lack thereof according to him) is a classless move and confirms the trifecta made the right move to cut him.

Turns out he's somebody no one would want as a teammate (like what he said about Ricky to the media that one season).

Carpenter's the kicker now screw Feely..good riddance.

No FRICKEN kidding!!! The media hyped this story of Allen as a bust since his rookie year, when Saban had him learning both CB and safety in a complicated D. A rookie! So all media types labeled the guy as dumb and dumber, And last year, in another complicated but different D, his good play was downplayed by the media too, with people asking "is it for real"?

It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out that the kid was not coached well, with the natual talent he has its pretty much a no brainer that he will be a very good safety, All-Pro caliber is another story, but very solid for sure. Instead of bashing Allen the writers should have been bashing the coaches.

Whether or not I like what Feely said about the Fins talent level, and whether or not I think he should have said it, I have to admit that pretty much everything he said is irrefutable. They do lack talent. Even the Trifecta would admit that. They won't say it quite that bluntly publicly b/c they have to play w/ the players they have or can realistically assemble now. But they will admit it next yr after they have another draft and FA signing period under their belt.

As far as Carpenter goes, as long as he gets the job done on Sundays I don't care. But he's got a ways to go to convince me. Regardless of his personality, you have to admit that Feely at this pt was more of a proven commodity and cutting him so quickly is taking a risk. It may turn out ok (hopefully will!) but still, it's a risk.

Feeley told the truth and everyone knows it. The NFL has never seen so many scrubs all on the same team..... pathetic.....yes...
