crowder doesn't seem to be a parcells kind of guy. I doubt he comes back next year. seems to me he has a lot of bark, not much bite. porter has much more credibility. what has crowder done in the nfl?

You are sooo cool. Really you are my idol. I wish I could be as cool as you are. I bet you are still the coolest kid in high school. I wish that I had the time on my hands to go to non-local newspapers and spout off that I am the greatest thing since sliced bread. I am so happy that I got to read your enlightning post. It has made such an impact on my life.
The facts are we beat you by 25 points in your house. You beat us by 20 in our house. 1-1. That simple.
BTW matt light will be suspended channing crowder will not.
No, the facts are the Pats have won 3 superbowls this decade and The Dolphins haven't won 1 since 1972. Here's another fact for you banana swallower, The Pats are going to the playoffs this year and the Stinkfins are not. It's that simple.

Light will be suspended and Crowder will not? Who are you Roger Goodell now? You have no idea if either or both of them will be. Your just pulling that out of your bannana stretched a.s.s.!

Moss got away with MURDER.... I'm sorry but when a player has a different set of rules THAT is hard to swallow. That TD against GOODMAN was really great D by Andre. Moss had his arm draped over Andres shoulder for about 7 yards, holding him close to his body...at the last second, as the ball was in the air--Moss gives a slight push---just enough to get Goodman moving forward--enough room for him to make the catch. THAT is not getting position, THAT is repositioning the defender....something that Moss does a hell of a lot. In a close game, that is hard to swallow. My biggest regret is losing Camerillo. Yeah, we lost, but played well enough to win. But you can't expect to beat the PATS twice in the same season. CAssel has an amazing line that gives him time...has 3 great receivers, a stellar tight end, an amazing all purpose back in Kevin Faulk....it wasn't a fluke that they did so well. But losing Camerillo is a big hurt to us. He make an incredible amount of solid plays that help us each weak.

Moneyhuice is right, just read the headlines.

"For the Dolphins (6-5), the loss snapped a four-game winning streak and hurt their chances of an improbable playoff berth after going 1-15 last year. They unraveled as the game slipped away, drawing three late personal-foul penalties, and defensive linemen Vonnie Holliday and Jason Ferguson apologized for the emotional lapses of teammates."

Read your own post. This is a team that only managed 1 win all of last year yet...they split with the vaunted Patriots, playing them close for over 3 quarters yesterday and pulling their pants down in the first game on in THEIR house. This team is way ahead of expectations and on track to be great.
NE may be using their backup but he has done something Brady never has, back to back 400 yd games and may we do to Tommy boy what he did to Drew Bledsoe.
By the way Hyde, just because they pay you to write, doesn't mean you should. you are technically correct but that talk belong in the team meetings unless it becomes a pattern. At least you don't disappoint, your column was as innane as ever.

OKAY, a few things to discuss here.
1) Chad Pennington, Try not to stare down your receiver before throwing the ball to him. That is a interception waiting to happen. You have been playing this game for awhile now and should know better. You would think the QB coach would teach that.
2) Randy Moss is STILL one of the best receivers playing in the NFL today. We still needed to have double coverage on that guy. Something to think about in case of a playoff rematch.
3) Speaking of Randy Moss, to the so-called "dolfans" in the inzone, don't **** pat that guy (Moss) on the back after he just scored a TD on your team. GET A CLUE!!! You looked like star strucked idiots on national television.
4) Yes some of the Refs calls were questionable, but that is just part of the game. Only worry about things you can control, like executing good plays.
Fins need to get back on track, the season is not lost yet. BUT it's time for the Dolphins to get focused on winning.
GO DOLPHINS!!!
First things first, your observation about Pennington is absurd, he doesnt stare down receivers. In case you haven't noticed the guy is practically surgical with the ball. I know you think you missed your calling as an NFL coach but as long as you're sitting on the couch on Sundays leave the technical advice to the pros.

As far as double covering the receivers, we don't have enough DB,s to double cover in 4 and 5 receiver sets which the Pats ran most of the day.

Overall the game was much better then it ended and just illustrated the fact that we still have a ways to go. We still need play-maker corners, better LBs and a consistent receiver corps. OVerall I'm still encouraged.

Also, there is nothing wrong with congratulating great players for great plays. Its all in the spirit of good competition. Until you start taking hits on the field, I would hold off on telling fans how to show their enthusiasm. If we dont want them to get a pat on the back keep them out of the endzone. Its that simple....and the term is "star struck" professor.

The Pats did not run 5 receivers all game long. Plus, Fins could have used more zone defenses. What about a delayed blitz or two??? The Coaching staff needed to get a little more creative with the defense especially when you can't match up defensively.
Dude, what are you taking about? If you blizt you have to man up....if you play zone you have to get pressure with the D-line otherwise you end up with holes in your zones. Both of which happended in the game. I think they still sell "football for idiots" might I suggest a copy?

Geez good thing you're only a coach in your head.

You don't pat players on the back for scoring touchdowns on you own team. What is this...little league?!?! I bet Mr Moss wont do a leap into the crowd in Greenbay.

OH and how did we beat New England the first time??? By double coverge of Randy Moss, that's how.

I like Chad Pennington, but every interception I saw him throw, the defense just read his eyes, pay attention next time Tex. BUT now he's better, maybe someone told him to look off the safety. So maybe that a moot point now.

OH Yeah, GO FINS.
