The Miami Dolphins wish they could be like the Pittsburgh Steelers.
aka Brian, Why the comparison to the steelers? they arent a rival of ours, who gives a crap about the steelers? Maybe you do but none of us do, whoopee, once they were in the super bowl, i knew i would start having my sundays free again, just one week early thats all..And AS far as the steelers do go, only one player i like on that team and he is Troy Polamalu, the rest of them who cares, So Sanantonio holmes won the mvp, who is he anyway? i guess he finally showed up for a game, about time, do you know his history? One "classy" guy the steelers have there, makes the hurricanes of the 80's look like choirboys...anyway, bottom line is, who really gives a crap about pittssburgh, we are interested in the northeast teams here...jets..bills..patsies, the rest are irrelevant..bottom line.

Sign Yeremiah, move Satele to G and get Jason Brown. As long a sPennington is our QB we cant go deep anyway to take advantage of an elite WR. Wait until 2010 when Henne takes over and then we can complete the team with a stud WR.

Ditto on Leonhard, also a solid punt returner as well as excel.ss.Ed Reed and Leonhard killed the Fins in the playoff game.

Parcells will not go for Chad Johnson or Boldin etc...forgetaboutit Harvey it will not happen. They will cost the team to much. He will pick up a good receiver in the later rounds. During one of the Giant Super Bowl years Parcells picked up a small good hands receiver who could stretch the feild in the later rounds named Baker.
Parcells will go defense in the early rounds. Forgetaboutit Harvey he will not go receiver early or go for a trade the will be to expensive in the context of valuable players he could have otherwise chosen. Skilled receivers who are not high profile are easier to pick up. A teams great offensive line or QB often make the receiver look better or not as good as he really is.

Boldin isn't a troublemaker like Chad or Plexiglass.

he got into it with his coach cause he was on the bench nursing an injury during a crucial drive and he wanted in the game. that is a competitor, not a trouble maker.

and I do think Boldin can come in and play well for us. the other WR's i'm not so sure about. they might not fit our system.

Note: A Big Time Receive DOESN'T Complement 2nd line players like Ginn, the Ginn's of the team would Complement the Big Time Receiver.

I don't see the Dolphins going after any of the big name recievers in free agancy not after the wilford experiment but they could probably get malcolm floyd from san diego fairly cheap the guy is 6'5" and 225lbs and only like 26 years old and doesn't have the reputation of tearing his team apart from the inside also bell is ok but not very good against the pass we need more of a ball hawk back there

we NEED a NT.. we gotta draft one or grab one in FA.. its a must.. also middle linebacker.. DE's we have some young talent there with langford and merling and even dotson.. if holliday isnt back chris canty would be an excellent add...solid, fairly cheap money guy who has good size...bart scott is good but im not sure if its because hes surrounded by all that talent around him so i wouldnt pay him crazy... jason brown would be the best FA add.. it would make this Oline one of the best in the league. being able to move satele to guard would add depth there..if we went into the season with a line of
LONG SMILEY BROWN SATELE CAREY... thats a great group with noone over 30.. all in their prime or soon to be.. thats what we gotta make happen

0-0, 11-5, does not matter. They will underachieve just like the last 35 seasons by not reaching the Super Bowl.
