sign bell and goodman since they will come the cheapest, then try to trade up for the best USC LB in draft while dealing Beck and maybe throw in another player (staele the center).
I think Detriot might be interested in a draft position switch since they need a lot of players and OL is talent heavy in this draft. Beck gets a chance and Detriot gets a player who has lots of potential after working with Parcell's coaches this past season.Salary wise this could be a wash out with not signing Chaning Crowder to big FA contract and we gain the best LB in draft. Plus we don't lose any draft picks.Detriot get a backup QB and a center that started 2 years plus the Dolphins pick at 25 and they save money to sign other players in FA.

Things would have to unfold before the FA period for this to happen of course. I'm sure the Lions have thought of this and maybe are trying to figure out how to rebuild quickly.

I think we could sign Jammar Fletcher to a deal only if we can get Eddie Moore to come back. Hold on to Beck. I think Beck will be the second coming of Beck.

We paid way too much for Carey!!!! He's not worth 7 million a year. The draft has plenty of right tackles!

We did NOT overpay for Carey. He plays every week. High level consistency has value over fragile superstars. This was a good value. He knows the expectations, he is a team player, he is a 'character' guy. I still think we try to get OG Robinson of Oklahoma in second round to replace Smiley when he goes down again.

Brown and Hayneworth will both be expensive. Although either player would solve a major need. It's doubtful thet'll sign either one of them. Signing a receiver isn't as essential as teaching the ones they already have. Bess and Camarillo are both good at getting open. If Ginn ever learns to get open, catch the ball and turn upfield, he'll have made a major stride. Right now, he catches it and either runs out of bounds or hits the ground before he gets hit. It's sad too. When he does get free, he's fun to watch. London is the x-factor. If he shows improvement, he could be the one. McFadden would likely be a decent prospect to the Fins. Still young and relatively reasonbly priced.

Burris and Johnson are just different forms of cancer. Maybe Boldin would work, since he's been frustrated in Fitzgerald's shadow. Maybe a change would do him good.

Harvey Dahl was undrafted, I dont think the Falcons would get compensation for him unless they tender him with a certian amount of money.

Get Haynesworth! I know, I know, he's a s*** load of money but come on, who has the talent that this guy has? No one! He's the absolute perfect fit for our defense and could easily get 8-10 sacks in the INTERIOR!!! Damn that sounds good. With Porter throwing in another 10-15 sacks, our defense will be stupid good. Resign Bell and Goodman, let Will Allen and Crowder go, pick up Bart Scott and draft a CB with decent size. Phew!

WR? I said it 2 months ago... Anquan Boldin is STAYING in AZ. I think Houz is too old for the Trifecta's liking. Pennington's arm is too short to bring in a BIG name free agent WR.

Now, what was Ernest Wilford's malfunction last year? He played quite well with average QBs like Leftwich and Garrard in JAX. SOMETHING wasn't right with him last year (health maybe?). I have a funny feeling that not only will he be retained, but he's actually going to show up this year. But if/when I'm wrong, we're DRAFTING a 6'3"+ WR.
