isn't it interesting that all of our free agents that we signed were drafted by the dolphins. That sets a good presedance

CB Ken Lucas has been cut by Carolina and would be a great fit in Mia he is a ball hawk and at #) yrs old still has 2 good yrs left in him. It would trump the Pats because he is better than Bodden and Springs.Bill and Co did not jump the gun on those guys for a reason he knew that there were going to be cap hits and teams were going to let good players go so im sure they will take a look at Lukas and others as they get released.Springs was a good player but he can not stay healthy and Bodden did not look very good last yr(no one looked good on the lions last yr).Lukas flies around and makes plays on the ball and can play phisical if needed.I know we are going to draft one or more CBs but it takes time for rookies to get used to the game in the NFL so Lukas can come in and start and let the rookies grow into the starter down the road.JAllen looks like a bust but he has had to learn differant D three yrs in a row and two differant positions so I will give him one more chance to get on the field and be a good player for us

Good offseason so far, nothing stupid. Kept our guys and we will continue to build through the draft... Everyone bitched that we didnt build through the draft for the past decade. Now that were doing it people are crying that were not signing overpriced free agents. Lucas would be a great veteran pick up if the price is right.

Hey sean, im glad im not the only MD fin fan...

Lucas went undrafted and has averaged less than three ints per year. hardly seems like a ball hawk?

every one wants Bill and Co to jump on every player in FA but Bill and CO have a plan so chill out and watch them turn this team into a dynasty for yrs to come and all of you want to be GMs can sit on your fav couch and wine about how the Phins are doing very little in FA and cry about every pick in the draft like last yr and then jump on the band wagon when we win the east and on to a home town SB championship this yr.Last yr people cried about picking Long then they cried about picking Merling then they cried about picking Langford and Henne(not so much about Henne) and we won the east another good draft and we will be on the move next yr feeling good about the team(kicking the pats, jets and T.Os arss always will) so chill out.I do think they should take a good hard look at Lukas because he is a good player and is what we need.

I would take Lukas over Green any day of the week because Lukas is a starter(started all 32 games the last 2 yrs and the playoffs) and Green is not a starter he did start but was beat out of his job and Lukas is a play maker.the only thing Green has on Lukas is age(seems important to Bill and Co)so maybe bring in both and see who will win the job my money is on Lukas.

just because a player is not drafted dose not mean he cant play Lukas has been in the NFL for 6 or 7 yrs and beat out drafted player after drafted player and Carolina gave him a huge contract. The only reason he is a FA is because he was do some big money this yr and they need cap space.

I did not mind Taylor going to the redskins but I would not like him to go to the Pats that would suck.Any team but them and the Jets I would be pissed if he ends up there and Belicheat would know how to use him (redskins did not)he would have 10 plus sacks this yr under Belicheat.

Did you catch my final comments in the last article? I'll agree with you that Lukas is probably a better option than than what we currently have, but I dont think his numbers and age will give him much of a chance for a deal with BP & Co. I also mentioned ocho-cinos nemesis could still come into the mix, till I just read this story to find out that the Patsies* already picked him up. I guess thats what you where referring to about us trumping the Pats* Lets not all freak out if we go with J.Allen while we develop our draft choice. Who knows, he just might find his niche this year...GO PHINS!!!

I think the Fins did quite well in FA adding two new starters and a good backup on the O line in Berger. IF, and I say IF Wake plays like the stud he was in the CFL, or even close to that level and gets 10+ sacks this year, then this FA class has to be given an A+.

That move alone could dramatically improve the defense, as we all know that getting pressure, let alone sacks, on the QB in this pass happy league called the NFL.

I disagree on the need for WR's in the draft. A good cornerback for sure, but what this team really needs is a monster NT that can be groomed to replace Ferguson in two years, and spell him in the meantime. The guy from BC? A monster ILB to upgrade that position would be on my list too. Then a WR.

Hey Harv, while you're slamming the Jets, did Bart Scott ever play behind a dominating NT like Kris Jenkins? Did he play with a shut down corner like Revis? And for the record, Kerry Rhodes, who will never be mistaken for Ed Reed, he's definitely one of the better safeties in the league that should absolutely flourish under Rex Ryan's coaching. I agree the QB situation is not ideal, but did anybody believe the Ravens could go as far as they did with Flacco?

Also, the next time Chad has back to back healthy, productive seasons will be his first. Henne? Does your crystal ball say how he'll do after Chad goes down? Exactly, you don't, which means if that happens the Fin's will be in the exact same situation and judging by Chad's track record he'll see PT this season...
