Wow 12 sacks last night was great. Glad we didn't Eli
to have a perfect game to win. I hope this team can keep
this up. 3 pts in 6 quarters is a nice change.
Go G-men...

Did you see Eli's reaction on the sideline when the Giants scored off the dropped hike? Looked like he was in a coma. There is no fire in this guy at all. Giants will not win a Super Bowl with Eli at the helm.

I'm not impressed with the win.
Giants offense 16 first downs was matched by the Eagles.
3rd Down completion rate: Eagles 31%, Giants 27%.
Rushing yards: Eagles 114, Giants 83
Manning's completion rate: 54%
Shockey 1 catch.
Average Down's per drive:
1st Half: 5
2nd Half: 4.3
Eagles:
1st Half: 5
2nd Half: 5.4

So what if Eli shows no emotion on the field. That's his nature, and his job as a quarterback. The players look up to him because he keeps his cool and because he doen't let bad (or good) plays phase him, he's just focusing on the play at hand. You want proof that you don't need to be all emotional to be a good QB? Just look at Peyton, his reactions on the field are almost always identical to Eli's.

My daily rant: Umenyiora is going to be interviewed today multiple times to reveal his tactics behind such a defensive massacre against the Eagles; and for us to find out he had purchased offensive tapes from the Patriots for $500,000.

The offense could have played a little better but they played well enough to win. Don't know how the first down stats were equal. Could that just be a mistake? Maybe not. The key to the game was filed position. Once Coughlin realized the mismatch the used the punter to put McNabb against the wall. And with bad field position you either need a big play or many first downs. The dynamics of the "super pass rush" are interesting. You give up runs but the secondary can cheat because of the fast rush so eventually the QB is going to have to pass on 3rd down and then watch out!
I prefer they give up rushing yards than the passing yards they were giving up before, especially if they can turn the other team's QB into a pin ball.

Eli may show no emotion off the field but did you notice that when he threw an interception he ran the guy down and forced him out of bounds.Thats playing with feelings. McNabb fumbled and appeared to pat the guy on the back as he ran for a touchdown. Then he makes excuses with the race card. I'd rather have a cool quarter back who succeeds then one whose emotions have all the sense of a spoiled two year old. If you want emotion try dating a menopausal woman. Isn't Jeff Garcia 3-1 right now or am I a racist for noticing.
