perceived inability is a good way to put it because thats all it is. They had the Titans down and out until a bogus roughing the passer call on a 3rd and long play that extended Titans game winning drive. They had the Steelers beaten and should have won the game for many reasons, a touchdown in the first quarter that was called a non-catch that for some reason they didn't challenge and them down and out until just one or two big plays. They outplayed them for about 58 minutes of the 60 minutes of that game. Then they beat a decent Dolphins team pretty easily and also beat a Eagle team that has a winning record in what many consider the toughest division in football.

The Giants game it was 20-10 in the third quarter of the Giants game and the Ravens were driving down the field and then a short pass by Flacco hit off of the hands and face mask of Mason (after mason had hurt his shoulder and couldn't raise his arms to catch the ball I might add) that was returned for a touchdown to make it 27-10 and pretty much end the game. The only game they didn't have a chance in was the Colts game and that was the first time Flacco had ever seen an NFL cover 2 and he struggled with the fast Colts defense. Believe me if you've watched him at all that game would be very different if they played it next week.

The Ravens also had to put up with this same talk back in the 2000 until they went to the Titans adelphi staduim where the Titans were undefeated and beat (did it again the playoff btw) and proved that they could hang with the big boys. What this team needs is a signature win against either the Steelers or Cowboys. I know the Skins are 7-5 but the Ravens should beat them pretty easily. The Skins depend on their run game to set up a so so passing attack and thats just not going to happen, also the Skins defense is not really all that great So could be a long night for Washington if the Ravens show up at all.
