I agree with you Joe, but wait until Joe F throws an interception, then we'll see if Mike P really believes what he writes.

Here's the real testiment to John Harbaugh, and his staff.

Not only has he changed the culture of the Ravens...

He's changed the culture of Mike Preston...

Amazing

Harbaugh has done a great job with his young club. If he can get them to the playoffs, as a wild-card, or perhaps even as AFC North Champions, it will be a great season for the young and promising Ravens!!!!

Flacco's development is coinciding nicely with the upcoming schedule.. 4 NFC east teams with Pitt & Jacksonville at home.. it will be needed along with that "3 headed monster" of a running game.. Oh by the way.. lets give props to that O Line !

Don't let prestons article make everyone start congratulating him. Those lowly browns beat one of the best teams in the NFL. The browns were one dropped pass away from taking this game. Don't get me wrong, I wanted the ravens towin. MP article show how he can twist things when he wants to. Him and steele still write these stories while eating donuts and thinking of ways to insult the readers.

If the Redskins win, the Ravens are tied for a first round playoff bye.

I understand how the Browns played yesterday, but for the past month they havent been a bad team... theyve been one of the better teams in the NFL. I'm not chugging the kool aid here, but don't dismiss this as an easy win

There you go showing just how ignorant you are Jeffro. The Barney Frank imitation is not a Baltimore dialect, it's making fun of a man who replaces his "r" with a "w". You know the same way you replace "th" with an "f" when you speak.

I agree that the overall perfomance of the offense was the best we have seen so far this year and arguably in years. I still question why we don't see use of our tight ends? When we get those guys into the fold we will have an efficient ofense that can put up drives that score and score touchdowns. we're not going to be "explosive" but we can put up 30 points a game and rely on our defense to keep the other teams at bay. what I was not prepared for is how terrible our kicking teams are, apart from the field goal unit. The ravens were always good at special teams but never had offensive threat now we are developing that threat and giving up on 1/3 of the game. I expected more from a coach that led special teams at philly. What gives?

Some interesting stats:

Joe Flacco has passed Big Jen, and Derek Anderson in passing yards, completions, and percentage.
By the end of the season his QB rating will improve and his touchdown to interceptions will be much better than it is right now.

And he’s a rookie.

Mike now calls them "the lowly Cleveland Browns," even though our knowledgeable Sun writers predicted a Browns victory (4 writers out of 7) pre-game. Now they are "lowly"? Bullcrap. This was a major win on the road against a team that was on a roll.
The fans' poll, by the way was 75-25 for a Ravens' victory.

Absolutely. I think Flacco has exceeded our expectations at the halfway mark of the season. We can feel fortunate for that and for the coaching staff of this team. What a difference a year makes!

nothing "lowly" about a win in a rivalry game in a hostile stadium against a team on a roll.
