i hope Trents looking around for another team does not become another Gannon issue with KC. It will be interesting to see if Huard starts next season and the score board reads 0-3. The man is 34 years old and has never been seen in 16 games yet. Giving all that is available I hope Trent stays and whips Huard for starter next season, it will do my heart good to see the coach holler "Send me my veteran QB and lets get the job done!"

I think if the chiefs do let trent go to an other team it will be a huge mistake. And big bad Herm will regret it til the day his is fired. Trent green is the best qb since lenny D,and he had a couple of stand out WR we would get to a super bowl in his last few years!

I agree. Watch some of the games this past season and watch all the missed tackles. That didn't help Trent. Also no one to catch it didn't help either. Will see I have a feeling all the Huard fans will not be so happy come mid-season. Time will tell.

Brodie Croyle will be the starter next year and will make KC fans forget Trent Green.

Trent is still the same quarterback he was. Why is it that Herm and Carl can't seem to factor in the facts surrounding the season. Trent played against the top defenses, Damon did not, Trent was off for half the season and had to shake the rust off while running for his life. Damon was not asked to lead the offense. He the only place he passed was the ball into Johnsons hands. He is not Trent and Trent deserves to get a chance to go to the dance. This could be the year, but not with Huard at QB. I hope Trent comes back and blows them all away! It would be great if Priest came back as well. Maybe if Trent got a little protection, it would make life easier.

Trent had his time and that time has been long gone. Huard stepped up this past year and did AWESOME. Some argue that Trent had to get some of the rust out when he returned. When was the last time Huard had started a game? He came in and got the job done without excuses. When will Edwards realize that the Chiefs will NEVER go anywhere until they let go of Trent.

Brdie Croyle might be ok in a year or two but not without a good qb to learn from,I dont think Bodie has ever made a fourth quarter come back in his entire college career. And if hee can't do it in college against a group of kids whats he gonna do against the big dogs. Also Huard maybe alright against the rams or frisco, he hasn't started for a team probably for a reason. Trent is our best option(peace and I'm out)

Boys and girls, Huard is a career backkup QB. You have that title/position for reason. Huard has zero leadership qualities. If Herman starts him this year you will see by mid season that we are finished for the year.

Huard is not going to be the next chiefs QB,he is another Brad Johnson-see he did well at the end of 05 when Culpepper got hurt, but when he got a chance to start for 16 games and teams had a chance to game plan for him he looked like just what he is a backup. And thats straight up the truth.
