The Steelers should expect every team to give them their best shot. This is a division game; records and last weeks performance can be thrown out the window. I believe if the steelers put forth the "give em all you got" mentality each and every game, the Super Bowl is the next stop (barring regular season injuries).

Your right, IMO, this'll be the BIG GAME for both teams. Last weeks statistics are only that... Last years 7 crucial injuries helped end the season (& ref.s during last Jag.s game). As long as the STEELERS keep playing one down at a time, moving the chains by running/passing the ball effectively, the Brown's will need to have a nearly flawless game to win. IMO,
Go STEELERS!!!!!

I like what you said about "barring regular season injuries". I think Tomlin is on his way to create a flexible depth chart...where, if one player goes down, another is there to back him up. Look at the RBs. Parker, Mendenhall, Moore...all possible starters or 2nd backs on another team. Wrs...Hines, Holmes, Washington, Baker, Sweed. QB...Roeth, Leftwich, and now Dixon. Even the defensive personal can play multiple positions (i.e. Taylor, Townsend, McFadden, A. Smith, Eason, Timmons, Clark).

If you cut off the snakes head, another one grows back. Position flexibility...I love that phrase.

Let's just try to keep that sharp blade (injury bug) turned away as much as possible though. No need to tempt fate. I'd prefer not to really know how deep they are due to injury,(salt over shoulder).

Well, my friend. We found out. EVERY season we find that out. That's why I think the only competent teams on the field that can handle injury are the Ravens, the Packers, the Steelers, and the Eagles. IN THAT ORDER.
