Of course. I forgot about the culture of losing that TT has brought to Green Bay. Losing the division, finishing 8-8, and missing the playoffs in 2006 is now considered "success" by the TT lovers. I didn't get the memo on how to think and act like a loser. Thanks for telling me how!

Again, it doesn't change anything. Your excuses will NEVER change the fact that Ted Thompson is a loser and failure as a GM. As you detailed above, he has the losing record to prove it.

Let's look at the cap situation in Sept. '05, according to ESPN. Green Bay was 3.9 million under, moreso than Detroit (2m), less so than MN (4m) and CHIC (5.6m). In March, GB was only $2.7 million under. Riviera counted 2.2 against the cap, Wahl 2.5=4.7. Darren Sharper left $2.4. Rodgers had a cap friendly deal. A settlement with Cletidus Hunt saved them 1.9 against the cap. Not taking sides here, but assuming they made cap friendly deals, it would have been conceivable to keep Riviera and or Wahl. That said, the 2005 team lost Ahman Green, Najeh Davenport, Tony Fisher, and even eventual replacement Samkon Gado, Javon Walker and Robert Ferguson all to injuries. It had a lot to do with losing those games, as well as the rookie guards.

And that doesn't even consider the possibility of restructing then existing contracts to enable the team to keep existing talent or sign helpful free agents. That is what many successful GMs do. I know that the Broncos did so in the 1990s in order to build their championship teams.

The point is that it is a GMs job to build a winner. The best GMs are creative. They find ways to do it. The bad GMs make excuses. The good ones make champions.

Both you and Rick are first and foremost Favre haters. Your obsessions put being a fan somewhere way down the list. No true Packer fan would love a loser GM like TT so much, and at the same time hold an insane obsession to trash the winningest QB in Packer history. You are an irrational, sick, hypocrite. Oh, and again, your excuses don't change the fact that Ted Thompson is a loser and failure as a GM.

Eric; forget about GBPfan and his one-way thinking. He'll never change until TT is gone. You won't see much from him if the team is successful and if we flop he'll be on every post. He's got some serious emotional issues when it comes to TT. Most people who study the pro game and are paid to offer opinions on ESPN, Pro Football Weekly, etc. have generally stated that TT is one of the better GM's in the league.

There is only one way to THINK -- logically. Whatever it is that the TT lovers do cannot be described as thinking.

i seem to recall a former Packer qb who won 2 sb and 5 championships and all in 8 or 9 years,to me that's the winning est, but, i know what you mean,Favre has more wins then any qb in history, more TD,more yards, more INT,more attempts, more completions then any in history. and we must not forget more MVP's as well 3. as for a loser as a GM,well many experts put him as one of the better gm;s in the game.of course we all know you know more then the experts and of course you know more then Ted,Ron Wolf, the man that recommended him as well as Harlen who hired him and the rest in the Packer organization, yes all mighty you are the greatest,so why arent you the GM of the Packers?

Didn't Wolf and Harlen also hire Ray Rhodes. It's obvious they are not infallible, and have made major mistakes in the past...I think you just proved GBPfan's point for him.

And now you are singing his praises too. Selective memory, or just out and out stupidity? First, you're envious of the GREEN BAY PACKERS record twelve (12) Championships, and now you,re jealous of Packer management. Run back to the Viqueen forums with your tail between you're legs. Haven't you admitted Viqueen inferiority enough already? LOSER!

Wrong again zipper head
I found two people who are jealous of the packers. They live in the rain forest of New Guinea, and just ate their neighbor who happened to stray too close to their village.

I noticed you didn't deny it. Obviously you are afraid to. Apparently you have been humiliated by the Packers far too often. Ha Ha! Too intimidated by the Packer's glorious history and superior management. Take a hike you gutless loser.
