Full story: WXIA Atlanta

I'm always afraid I'll miss something when I make the trip from the press box to the field near the end of an NFL game.

When I was in Tennessee, I saw first hand what happens when the team phases out veterans ... CHAOS! With each cut the team lost games and even worse ... morale. Fans booed and sold their season's tickets. Some used their jersey's for doggie blankets. Others used objects with Titan logo's for pet poop scoopers. I hope that the Falcons will consider this when planning moves. Cutting your best players can be a two-edged sword! You might get better players or you might eat your lunch!
Falcons need a new coach AND quarterback for improvement to occur!
Some of the play calling during the Titans/Falcons game was questionable and even grade schoolish.
One thing is for sure, the Defense have proved they don't need a quarterback in order to play ball. They made miracles happen that no one would expect when there is an absence of a capable quarterback. I say, let's let the Defense play the next game and let BOTH quarterbacks sit the bench! That will end all quarterback controversy!:)smile.
Lastly, in spite of having NO quarterback, injuries looming, half the offensive line asleep, mental errors all over the field, crazy play calling, kickers that can't kick, and with the extra curricular moves of De'Angelo Hall, we can still proudly announce "WE'RE NOT IN LAST PLACE" (in our division) so we must be doing something right!

This year -- 2007 -- the Falcons are not worth the traffic to go to the Dome -- NOT WITHSTANDING significantly reduced prices for former season ticket holders. Rich McKay shoulders a lot of responsibility for getting the Falcons in such a tail spin. For starters, the hiring of Petrino. Sure that he -- Petrino -- is a good guy, but why did he not go for experience? The debacle on pulling Harrington is the experience of working with college kids -- NOT MEN.
The offensive line is of shambles, and just cannot understand how the coaches and management did not see that before they closed out drafting!!!
Fear that the Falcons are in for years of suffering until they get a good, insightful general manager; a shrewd, smart coach who can inspire men; and some talented players who will respond to a good coach's leadership. It will not happen in 2008!!

Daily Horoscope for December 4

Sagittarius

You're in a sensitive mood today, so you need to choose the company you keep very carefully. Resist the urge to believe only what you want to believe and to disregard the rest, even if something is so obvious that it's staring you in the face. Do not bury your head in the sand or avoid anything unpleasant, because you'll have to face it sooner or later. The more you resist doing this now, the more difficult things may be further down the line.
