I'm watching Pac10 UCLA being thrashed by "Temple" right now.

That is a fact.

So, does playing every other Pac10 team really mean anything?
Quack Addict wrote:
mitty,
Did OSU play the top 3 offenses in the Big 10 this year?
In the PAC10 every team plays each other every year.
Isnt it true OSU has the best D in the Big 10 but they didnt even play the top 2 offenses in their own conference?
I am merely posing the question as I do not know this to be fact - I believe I read it from another poster on here.

Xavier, here in Cincy, is about as big as my back yard...

I do apologize for switching "sports" on you...

Only one stat that means anything for the game. The line is 3-1/2, Oregon. The experts say it's a toss-up. All the other stat chat here is noise.

I'll take a Buckeye win by 1 point. Then we can listen to what 'could have been ...'.

These bowl games are hard to pick....they put a light atmosphere, overfeed the teams and if you have some guys turnin pro they may just not play....lay down. The Bucks are young.....wtch out for that Blount guy....throws a mean right hook after the game ! Can you spell T-H-U-G ?

Wow...such a large sample size! Iowa and PSU are such great top 15 teams too. Everyone thought Iowa was a joke. Boise State fans were chomping at the bit to face Iowa because they knew they would throttle them. Please, dude, say something relevant.

The Pac-10 from top to bottom was a much stronger conference. Seriously, Toledo and Navy, and NMSU. Granted USC was on that OOC schedule but they ened up pretty lackluster. There was not a lot of competition on your schedule.

Hold on there Duckman.....last year USC was dominant...should have been in the NC game....but let's face reality here: Oregon barely beat Purdue and BARELY beat an Arizona team that was THROTTLED by Iowa ! So I don't follow your logic. USC beat OSU it is true but when they played Oregon they were down a few players. I think it will be a good game..........you can throw everything out the window.....Navy was a respectable team. Our trouble all year is our running game....with Beanie Wells going pro early it hurt us. We have about 5 backs. I think we will have the freshness that IF our defense shows up like they have all year to keep it close, I think we will have a chance late in the game. Let's face reality also, both teams have had their ups and downs....Boise State THUG Blount punching that guy and THEN being allowed back ??? We are down three players....not good ! Good luck !
